When a cache hosting site like geocaching.com becomes as large
as it has, they need to cover their costs somehow, and so I have
voted yes. There may be better ways they could go around it,
maybe a blanket fee that everyone has to pay but being much
lower than it is now? Ultimately that specific company
(groundspeak) is just that, a company out to make money, not to
just cover their costs though.

Obviously I would rather it was free, but most
clubs/associations charge for membership. I am in Scouting which
charges membership, I pay to play skittles each week. It is up
to us to decide whether we want to be in the club and pay for
it's particular benefits.

Now there's an idea - we make a club with one PM and we all use
that one PM :)
So, what rules will we need ::)

The 1st rule of the one PM for all club: You do not talk about
the one PM for all club.

It's going to be darn hard to organise a club when we can't talk
about it. I guess that's why it hasn't been done before :D
