Yes :)
I was initially planning the going around on the day, but they
thought as so many were already eating, it would make their job
easier pre-ordering in logs as we're doing now, and taking last
minute food orders on the day, confirming choices etc.
Yes, when it gets into the mid-40s I may say that 55 is the max
limit for food :-\

Also I was thinking as we may have a few more trophies than we
have competitors in the CWSBC, maybe we could also hand out a
couple to members of this site, in some sort of CacheWalker
Forum Awards.
For example, a Where in the World Cup, awarded to the member who
has guessed the most rounds rounds correctly. Just simple stuff
like that for a bit more fun, and to encourage more people there
to join up :)
Anyone object? ;) :) ;D

As Events get more popular we are getting to the point where we
need to limit numbers but current Groundspeak rules don't allow
that unless it's a CITO Event.
Hmmm, need to make it clear on the Event page that due to the
size of the pub, they can only cope with a limited amount of
people who want to eat. We need to keep the pub on our side, as
they could pull out :o

Well, we know that amount is 50 tops, and 39 has been lowered to
37 as eating so far, and the vegetarian option has been frowned
at so may may drop more, so at the moment they are still on our
"side" and she seemed okay with it - she said it was excellent
there was so much interest :)... It is almost £10 a head, so
they're not loosing anything if we do reach 50 as eating ;)
If you really want, we could make an announcement saying that 50
eating is the maximum, or just see how it goes?

I think the pub is great and very friendly, an excellent venue
;D
It's great to see so many wanting to attend but it brings its
own problems.
I think it should be mentioned that the pub can only cope with a
limited number of people who want to eat, just so cachers
reading the Event description know.
Keeping a tally of eaters (which from your posts, I think you
are doing), means when we get close to max, the Event page can
be updated.
What do others think ???
