Perma banned for holding a staff.

In game name at time of ban - Keppelinger... I don't quite
remember.
Date of ban - May 09, 2013, 09:35:00 pm (estimate)
Reason you feel you should be unbanned -
Coolfool was waaaayyy too impatient. The server was in the
middle of a proclaimed "war" of "Xeno's vs the dark militia"
Whatever that is. This was started by an admin known as "Dark".
I was walking back from arrivals after being stunned and killed
in an ambush, so I respawned some of my gear. The only thing
different was a staff of change, which I assume must have been
the problem.
I walked down a hall to see an assistant, and being a mage type,
I told him "You're mine". I planned on killing him, and then
making him into a construct minion, using the Artificer spell.
Within 5 seconds of me saying "you're mine" I get a pm from
Coolfool saying frantically "NO!! NO!! DROP IT!". At this point,
the staff has already been on the ground because I planned on
knocking him out with the staff of animation ( What use would a
slime body be for capturing a soul, Right?). I didn't even USE
the staff of change. Nor the Staff of animation. Nothing. I
stared at him for a few seconds waiting for him to show some
sign of life.
1 second later I am kicked from the server. I log back in about
6 seconds later to explain myself, or to at least find out what
I did wrong. I had no god damn clue what just happened. 3
seconds after I logged in after the kick, I was PERMANENTLY
BANNED for what was only annotated as "using staffs threats" in
the official reasons line. He didn't even give my permaban the
time and decency to use proper grammar. He even mispelled the
word Permanent! ("PERMENANT"). Come on guys... YOU'RE ADMINS..
What the actual **** just happened?
Do admins on Commodore really lack enough patience to properly
explain to me why I'm being permanently banned from their
server? I know you guys are better than that. Or .... was he
the assistant I was about to kill? This would explain his prompt
response, thus he was too worried about his IC well being to
properly administrate authority. IF that is the case, then I see
some serious conflicts of interest between duty and personal
enjoyment. Please, check the logs. I didn't even touch the guy
before I was permanently banned.
Why was I banned? I didn't know I did anything wrong -
especially when the entire station is shooting each other up,
and bandilos is at arrivals killing everyone who spawns with an
l60 and an energy axe ; Apparently he was in the right!. (I
asked about the legitimacy of that, and Dark responded "Well, we
are at war").
CoolFool, you really need to learn to take a step back and think
things out before you do them. You don't just permaban someone
because they take out an item without telling them WHAT IS WRONG
( Especially when they DIDNT EVEN USE THE ITEM!!). I respect you
as an admin, but that is NOT behavior I expect from someone
given the title of admin.
What it looks like to me is that I was banned for threatening to
shoot him with the Staff of Change, but I assure you that was
not the intent. And even if it was, with all that was going on
around me, I hadn't an inkling of a clue that a staff of change
was warranting of an instant permaban. I'm sure that people have
been temporarily banned for worse on this server. No formal
warning. Nothing. Just 5 seconds worth of shouting in my PM box.
Love the server, but that was just rude.

I'll have a chat with Coolfool and look in the unban panel for
his reason
