       Patterson Pond
       Location: On the Patterson property, to the far North of the
       house.
       Climate: Temperate rainforest/muddy swamp
       Other info: This is a mid-sized pond on the Patterson property.
       It used to be about forty feet across, but it was partially
       drained and is now only about thirty feet in diameter. It is
       surrounded by bog and filled with Rough-skinned newts.
       Top bug predators: Common Whitetail dragonfly, backswimmers
       Primary bug predators: Narrow-collared Snail Eating beetle,
       Strawberry ground beetle, alderfly larvae, etc.
       Herbivores/decomposers: Earthworms, slugs, snails, mosquito
       larvae, mayfly larvae, etc.
       Producers: Trees, swamp grass, blackberries, etc.
