       Nettle patch (Patterson property)

       Nettle patch
       Location: On the Patterson property, to the Northwest of the
       house.
       Climate: Temperate rainforest
       Other info: A section of forest on the Patterson property. It is
       wet and moss-filled. Dutch found his first Snail Eater here.
       Top bug predators: None known, though the Giant Striated ground
       beetle (Pterostichus lama) may live here.
       Primary bug predators: Narrow-collared Snail Eating beetle,
       Strawberry ground beetle, Western Thatching ants, etc.
       Herbivores/decomposers: Earthworms, snails, etc.
       Producers: Moss, trees, nettles (in March-November),
       blackberries, etc.
