Size: 1.0—1.5 inches long.
General info: "I thought you had two." "I did." "Where's the
other one?" "She ate it." This beetle from the American
Southwest is large and aggressive, hunting scorpions,
centipedes, and other beetles, though it also enjoys fruit.
