History
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 21
Floppy vs Fallen Windmill
Floppy's debut came against the powerful but inconsistent
horizontal spinner
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/horizontal-spinners/<br
/>Fallen Windmill
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/fallen-windmill/,<br
/>the previous tournament's #1 seed.
The fight was quite even, with neither bot able to land a
big hit, but Floppy was able to tank the glancing hits from
Fallen Windmill, and the spinner's bar began to bend. Eventually
the bots collided hard enough for Floppy to lose a wheel pod.
Fallen Windmill was also flipped, but it self-righted and Floppy
was counted out.
Floppy vs Icewave

Fallen to 0-1, Floppy next fought another overhead horizontal,
this one fellow rookie Icewave
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/icewave/.
Floppy was able to get under Icewave early on and tip it
over for a dominant KO and moved on as a 1-1 competitor. Its
next opponent was Haymaker
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/haymaker/,<br
/>a veteran flipper which had pioneered Floppy's own three-pods
design.
Floppy vs Haymaker
Floppy charged straight at Haymaker, which maneuvered to the
side, trying to bypass Floppy's front forks. However, the impact
ripped Haymaker in half, and it was counted out. Floppy won
another impressive victory, dethroning the original king of
flippers.
Floppy vs Tank

Floppy defeated the offset horizontal
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/offset-horizontal-spinners/<br
/>by KO with a flip. Next up was the elimination bracket
semifinal, where Floppy would face the reigning champion, the
powerful vertical spinner
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/vertical-spinners/<br
/>Skeleton
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/skeleton/.
Floppy vs Skeleton
Ethan drove Skeleton and Dutch drove Floppy. Ethan deliberately
tried to lose, as he wanted Floppy to get to the finals. On the
tenth hit, Floppy got under Skeleton and flipped it over. When
Ethan tried to wind up Skeleton's weapon to self-right, the
rubber band pulled loose, and Floppy won by KO, advancing to the
finals in its rookie season to face Chopper
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/chopper/.
Floppy vs Chopper
Floppy lost, probably by KO, and finished as the runner-up.

Floppy vs Fallen Windmill
HTML https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/battlebots/images/d/d2/Beta_Bloodsport_WCVII_slam.gif/revision/latest?cb=20230423164253
Floppy was again seeded against Fallen Windmill. This time,
however, the first hit pushed the spinner's bar up on its shaft,
effectively disabling it. Floppy controlled the match and won a
judge's decision.
Floppy vs Tank
Floppy won for the second time. This win put it in the winners'
bracket semifinal in another rematch, this one against Chopper.
Floppy vs Chopper
Floppy pulled off an upset win by KO, moving on to the finals
undefeated.
Floppy vs Tank

Floppy flipped Tank and won by KO, taking its first Legobots
championship.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 24
Floppy sat #23 out, returning for #24. It was seeded by Dutch's
newer flipper Hydra
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/hydra/,<br
/>which had done well in #24.
Floppy vs Hydra
A long and brutal ramming match KO'd both flippers. The fight
went to a double knockout judges' decision and Floppy lost,
joining the elimination bracket.
Floppy vs Thumper
Floppy's next match was verses the rookie Thumper, which sported
an eggbeater
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/eggbeaters/<br
/>weapon.
Floppy took the hits and won the fight, advancing to the
next round, where a rematch with Tank awaited it.
Floppy vs Tank
Floppy won for the fourth time, moving on to face Chopper again.
Floppy vs Chopper
Floppy won, eliminating Chopper, and moved to the finals to face
Hydra again in the first ever flipper vs flipper final.
Floppy vs Hydra
Hydra again proved to be the lower bot, but lost one of its four
wheels. Floppy kept attacking but then took a flip which landed
one of its wheel pods upside down. Floppy was counted out and
finished as the runner-up for the second time.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 25
Floppy vs Millibyte 2
Floppy won easily and advanced to the second round.
Floppy vs Chopper
Floppy defeated Chopper again.
Floppy vs Scrambler
Floppy lost to the eggbeater.
For unknown reasons, Floppy didn't get a fight in the
elimination bracket.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 26
Floppy vs Scrambler
Floppy took a revenge win, likely by overturning Scrambler. Next
up for the former champ was Fallen Windmill's descendant,
MicroWave
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/microwave/.
Floppy vs MicroWave
This very even fight went to JD, with both bots working well at
the end. Floppy lost a close decision (6-5) and joined the
losers' bracket, matched up against another overhead, this one
Ethan's solid bot A Bone To Pick.
Floppy vs A Bone To Pick
Floppy won and moved on.
Floppy vs Scrambler
Floppy won again. Its next opponent was MicroWave, which had
just been KO'd by Skeleton.
Floppy vs MicroWave
Floppy's wedge deflected MicroWave's blade more effectively than
it had prior, and Ethan's bot won by decision. Floppy was now in
the finals once more, but it would have to go through Skeleton
to win a second title.
Floppy vs Skeleton
Floppy won a JD, putting the bots in a sudden-death rematch.
Floppy vs Skeleton
Floppy forfeited, since Ethan didn't want a rehash of the
previous fight. Thus it fell at the last hurdle and was
eliminated.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 27
Floppy vs Scrambler
Floppy was somehow seeded against Scrambler again. This time it
lost, joining the elimination bracket.
Floppy vs A Bone To Pick
Floppy won this rematch. Next up was the high-speed vertical
spinner Divider, which had defeated Chopper but fallen to
Scrambler.
Floppy vs Divider
Floppy won, advancing for another rematch with MicroWave, which
was coming off a win that eliminated Chopper.
Floppy vs MicroWave
Floppy won and MicroWave was eliminated.
Floppy vs Scrambler
Floppy won and entered the finals against Skeleton for the
second time in as many seasons.
Floppy vs Skeleton
Floppy won.
Floppy vs Skeleton
Floppy won and was crowned champion for the second time.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 29
Floppy sat #27 out but returned for #28 fully ready. It was
seeded against the winner of a prelim, who ended up being
Dutch's rookie flipper Launch Break.
Floppy vs Launch Break
Floppy rammed Launch Break to pieces in one hit, moving on for
yet another rematch with MicroWave.
Floppy vs MicroWave
HTML https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-IKdwIdRDRHg/W7CcK5cXJJI/AAAAAAAABrU/ZmpKNXEK-GI13yMfHhYUbYWH35Y7STqPgCLcBGAs/s320/BB-ep109-Icewave-v-Skorpios-photo-Dan-Longmire-7.jpg
Floppy rammed MicroWave into the air several times, also taking
glancing impacts from the other bot's incredibly dangerous
spinner. The fight went to JD and Floppy won Control but lost
Aggression and Damage, losing the fight.
Floppy vs Cyclone 2
Floppy beat the full-body spinner
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/full-body-spinners/<br
/>easily.
Floppy vs Chopper
The fight, later described as "an absolute brawl" was fairly
even throughout, with Floppy landing a flip and deflecting
Chopper's hits. Late in the match Floppy took a massive hit that
heavily damaged its wedge but broke Chopper apart. Chopper was
counted out and Floppy moved on.
Floppy vs MicroWave
Floppy rammed MicroWave's chassis in two (a result of
MicroWave's "Handle" attachment compromising its frame's
strength) and won by KO. This put it in the final against
Skeleton for no less than the third time.

Damage to MicroWave after the match.
Floppy vs Skeleton (twice)
Skeleton forfeited twice and Floppy took its third Legobots
championship.
Floppy never competed in Legobots again, though it was set
to enter Tournament 31 before being scrapped.
