History
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 33
Free Ripping vs RadioWave
Free Ripping's debut came in a qualifier match against the
durable horizontal spinner
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/horizontal-spinners/<br
/>RadioWave.
Free Ripping first landed a hit on RadioWave that damaged
the horizontal's front armor but sheared a chunk out of one of
its own impactor plates. The second hit spilled more pieces out
of RW. The third hit blew RW's armor apart, took out all its
contact points, knocked its handle off the back, and put a nick
in one of the frame members deep in the chassis. RadioWave was
dead in the water and Free Ripping won its first ever match by a
shockingly impressive KO. However, it would next be tested
against the reigning champion, fellow FBS Chopper

[attachimg=2]
Damage inflicted on RadioWave by Free Ripping. Much of the front
armor was damaged, the entire bottom of the chassis was gone,
and the handle was knocked off the back. However, the frame was
largely undamaged despite taking a direct hit.
Free Ripping vs Chopper
Free Ripping blew Chopper to pieces in two hits and moved on for
a match with another top—this one last tournament's runner-up
and rookie sensation Unnamed II.
Free Ripping vs Unnamed II (winners' bracket semifinals)
Free Ripping KO'd Unnamed II as well, moving on to the finals to
face the winner of the elimination bracket—this turned out to be
Unnamed II.
Free Ripping vs Unnamed II (final)
Free Ripping scored another quick KO and won the title, being
the first rookie to do so since Tearnado III in tournament #18.

Free Ripping vs Spinster
The champ's first opponent of the tourney was Spinster, a rookie
top spinner. The first hit was impressive and lightly damaged
both robots. This was followed by two misses. On the next
collision Free Ripping sent Spinster flying with a sheared-off
tooth. This left Spinster unbalanced and it was counted out,
giving Free Ripping the win by KO.

Free Ripping vs Manticore
Next up for Free Ripping was the flipper
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/flippers/<br
/>Manticore, which had just beaten MicroWave
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/microwave/<br
/>by knockout.
Free Ripping tore into Manticore's chassis and blew the
entire bot apart in four hits, even shearing off a technic
piece.
Free Ripping vs Chopper (winners' bracket semifinal)
Free Ripping smashed Chopper to bits in only three impacts,
winning yet another victory by KO. However, since Chopper won
the losers' bracket semifinal against MicroWave, Free Ripping
had to fight it again.
Free Ripping vs Chopper (final)
Free Ripping broke Chopper in two again and David tapped out.
Free Ripping won its second consecutive Legobots championship.
All-Team Tournament 6.0
Free Ripping vs RadioWave
Free Ripping immediately got to work slamming its blades into
RW, and on the second hit the horizontal spinner
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/horizontal-spinners/'s<br
/>90-gram Disk shot off and flew through the air, flying into a
nearby couch and bouncing off to narrowly miss Ethan's head. On
the third hit RW was flipped and counted out, giving Free
Ripping its ninth win straight by KO.
Free Ripping vs Not That Cute
Not That Cute was Trent's most successful entry, a large top
spinner. Free Ripping battered NTC into pieces but was unable to
fully KO it and the fight went to a decision. Free Ripping won
it and advanced to face Chopper once again.
Free Ripping vs Chopper (winners' bracket semifinal)
Free Ripping KO'd Chopper in six hits and advanced to the finals
to face Not That Cute for the second time.
Free Ripping vs Not That Cute (final)
Free Ripping did far worse this time, taking heavy damage and
losing by KO in only two hits, its first loss. However, since it
was the leading finalist, a second final was held.
Free Ripping vs Not That Cute (final)
Free Ripping was back in form, battering Not That Cute and
splitting it into several pieces, but since NTC was designed
with contact points under the impactors, it was able to keep
fighting. On the eighth hit, Not That Cute's remaining section
was flipped and counted out. Free Ripping was declared
champion... until about one minute later when a smaller (but
still substantial) chunk of NTC with a remaining contact point
was spotted. On the tenth hit Free Ripping took a hit which left
it stranded and counted out. Free Ripping was, to everyone's
shock, eliminated.
