Undertaker
[attachimg=3]
Undertaker is a vertical spinner
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/vertical-spinners/msg185/#msg185<br
/>built by Dutch that competed starting in Patterson-Seibert
Tournament 29. It is the most powerful vertical spinner of all
time. It did poorly on its debut, losing two destructive matches
to Chopper
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/chopper/l,<br
/>but returned to finish as the runner-up, ending Skeleton

/>18-fight streak of not being KO'd.

Undertaker vs Chopper

/>met weapon-to-weapon and the hit blasted Undertaker's entire
weapon mounting off the body. This unbalanced the rest of the
bot, leaving the front contact points off the ground. Undertaker
lost by KO.
Undertaker vs Chopper
This rematch was due to Chopper's losing to Skeleton
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/skeleton/.<br
/>The fight again ended in one hit, this time a massive shot by
Chopper to the front of Undertaker, ripping its frame in half.
Undertaker lost by KO again and was eliminated.

Undertaker vs RadioWave
Undertaker damaged RadioWave's bar and armor and won by tapout.
Undertaker vs Skeleton
Next up for Undertaker was three-time champion and hugely
destructive vert Skeleton
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/skeleton/.<br
/>After a couple solid hits where it proved to have the
advantage
due to its slightly higher tip speed, Undertaker's weapon shot
out a tiny technic piece, then stopped due to a shaft coming
loose. Dutch tapped out.
Undertaker vs RadioWave
RadioWave forfeited as Dutch wanted to concentrate on
Undertaker.
Undertaker vs Skeleton
Skeleton had lost its heavy-hitting match with Chopper, and
Undertaker had another chance to fight it.
Undertaker damaged Skeleton's bar and weapon mount on the
first hit. It then hit Skeleton hard enough that the champ's
momentum broke its right-side stability prong (which was a brown
plate). After a couple more shots, Undertaker got a huge hit
that violently ripped the top off Skeleton's wedge and flipped
it over for an incredibly impressive KO. It advanced to the
finals in only its second tournament to face Chopper for the
third time.
Undertaker vs Chopper
Before the tournament, Dutch had added ablative armor to the
front of Undertaker in anticipation of this fight. The
right-side armor did its job, absorbing the first hit but being
easily ripped off. Chopper then landed a big hit on the exposed
chassis, in the same spot it had impacted to rip Undertaker in
half the previous tournament. However, the impact did absolutely
no visible damage to Undertaker this time.
After a couple more hits, which were fairly even, Chopper
caught the other side of the frame and, transmitting force
through the ablative armor chunk, tore Undertaker's frame in two
the same way it had previously. Undertaker was KO'd and
eliminated.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 31
Undertaker vs Rob
Undertaker was given the #2 seed and first faced rookie
hammerbot
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/hammers<br
/>Rob.
Skeleton won by tapout after tearing Rob's wedge and front
armor apart.
Undertaker vs Launch Break II
Undertaker's next fight was against another rookie, this one the
powerful flipper
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/flippers/<br
/>Launch Break II
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/launch-break-ii/.
Undertaker landed many impressive hits on LBII, but these
mostly served to send itself flying, and in the first two hits
it lost two of its four front contact points. Eventually its
weapon hub split enough to stop spinning and shortly after it
was overturned and counted out, joining the losers' bracket
against a second rookie flipper, Pancake.
Undertaker vs Pancake
Undertaker disabled Pancake's flipper arm on the first hit and
continued to destroy the rookie, smashing off most of the
chassis but flipping several times (including a full
summersault) and losing almost half its weapon disk. The fight
went to JD and Undertaker was ruled the winner.
This win put Undertaker up against MicroWave
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/microwave/.
Undertaker vs MicroWave
Undertaker forfeited as Dutch wanted to focus on MicroWave.

Undertaker vs Crater Creator
HTML https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/battlebots/images/1/1c/Riptide_Shatter_WCVII_Lexan_hit.gif/revision/latest?cb=20230511152245
Undertaker's first match of the season was against rookie
hammerbot Crater Creator. CC tried to get the advantage by
firing into Undertaker's spinner but failed to disable
Undertaker's weapon, which blasted chunks off CC's wedge before
ripping the hammer mounting out—at which point Crater Creator
tapped out. Next up for Undertaker was a rematch with Chopper.

Undertaker first took a hit to the front armor which dented a
plate and split the frame slightly. The next hit landed lower
down and split Undertaker's entire chassis in two from top to
bottom. Undertaker was counted out and joined the elimination
bracket.
Undertaker vs MicroWave
Undertaker forfeited again.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 33
Undertaker vs Unnamed II
Undertaker's first fight of the tournament was against returning
runner-up Unnamed II. The bots went weapon-to-weapon twice
before a huge hit ripped Undertaker entirely in half. Undertaker
lost by KO and joined the losers' bracket.
Undertaker vs MicroWave
HTML http://robotcombat.com/images/nightmare-icewave1.jpg
This was the first time the two had actually fought. Undertaker
took a hit to the side of its weapon which ripped off half the
tooth and heavily damaged the disk. Undertaker tapped out and
was eliminated.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 34
Undertaker vs Manta
Undertaker was first matched up against Dutch's rookie Manta, a
powerful eggbeater spinner
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/eggbeaters/<br
/>storing only slightly less energy than Undertaker itself.
Undertaker ran a specialized fork attachment in front,
designed to deflect Manta's eggbeater and hopefully slow it down
before weapon-on-weapon impact.
This proved ineffectual in the first engagement. As the two
massive verts collided, Undertaker was thrown back (due to a
combination of lower tip speed and higher-set weapon) and the
forks were torn off and scattered around the room. On the next
hit Undertaker lost a huge weapon tooth and some of its disk.
This imbalanced the weapon and made it increasingly difficult to
control. Eventually Manta's weapon mounts broke and it lost
spin. The two continued ramming until Undertaker's gearbox
housing split, killing the unbalanced spinner. The fight went to
a judges' decision which Undertaker lost, putting it in the
losers' bracket.

Damage to Undertaker after the fight.
Undertaker vs Manta
Undertaker was unfortunately placed up against Manta again in
the elimination bracket. Dutch went without the fork attachment
this time.
The first engagement, however, went much the same as last
time. Undertaker lost the tip speed war and was kicked up and
back. By the end of the third engagement its weapon was barely
functional and it tapped out and was thus eliminated.
All-Team Tournament 6.0
Undertaker vs Slippy Wheels
Undertaker was seeded against Ethan's hitherto unsuccessful
eggbeater Slippy Wheels.
Undertaker lost the tip speed war and was immediately
kicked backward in the first engagement, landing on its back
with other damage taken. Undertaker was counted out and lost by
KO in one hit, continuing its winless streak against eggbeater
spinners.
Undertaker vs Manta
Manta forfeited due to heavy damaged sustained against Trent's
top spinner Not That Cute. Next up for Undertaker was a match
with RadioWave.
Undertaker vs RadioWave
The two spinners inflicted heavy damage on each other and each
went the distance. Finally Undertaker won a very close JD and
advanced to face MicroWave again.
Undertaker vs MicroWave
Dutch, due to limited pit time, decided not to repair Undertaker
in any significant way from its fight with RadioWave. Thus,
Undertaker entered this match already heavily damaged.
The fight went poorly for Undertaker as MicroWave cut
directly through one of the supporting struts for Undertaker's
weapon, snapping the technic bar in half. Four hits in and
Undertaker was flipped on its back or front and counted out,
eliminating it.
Trivia
- Undertaker was the most powerful vertical spinner of all time.
- Undertaker also possesses the dubious distinction of being the
only bot to be one-hit KO'd on four separate occasions (Chopper,
Chopper, MicroWave, Slippy Wheel). Two of those KO's occurred in
the same tournament, both at the hands of Chopper.
