       Spinners

       from one bot to another. The two main types are brick
       construction and plate construction.

       Brick construction refers to bars that are primarily made of
       standard lego bricks. Though brick bars almost always require
       plates to hold their pieces together, the attack impact is
       usually taken by the bricks.
       While lego bricks bend less than plates, brick bars are
       usually weaker and less tough.
       Hand-powered overhead horizontal Executioner used a
       plate-constrained brick bar. Though they had mostly fallen out
       of favor by Patterson-Seibert Tournament 18.0, Tearnado III used
       plate-constrained brick teeth to win the championship twice.
       Plate Construction

       Plate construction refers to bars that are made primarily or
       totally of Lego plates. These bars are thus usually made up of
       several thin layers.
       Plate bars were first used by full-body spinners. Their
       first appearances in more complex mechanical weapons came with
       GyroWave and Left Hook

       Plate bars are generally superior to brick bars, being
       tougher, denser, and more compact. However, they are more prone
       to bending.
