Fallen Windmill was a middleweight bot armed with an overhead
gear-powered horizontal

/>bar
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/spinning-bars/<br
/>spinner
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/spinners/.<br
/>It was built by Dutch.
Fallen Windmill entered Patterson-Seibert Tournament 18.0 and
did well, going 3-2 and getting to the finals.
In Patterson-Seibert Tournament 19.0, Fallen Windmill did
poorly and went 0-2 as well as losing an exhibition match.
For 20.0, Dutch greatly improved Fallen Windmill's weapon,
making it much more solid. It went 2-2, beating two rookies, and
also lost an exhibition match to the champion Skeleton
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/skeleton/<br
/>by JD.
Between 20.0 and 21.0, Dutch made three new weapon bars for
Fallen Windmill, in addition to the Thick bar it had used
previously: the Long bar (designed for fighting vertical
spinners
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/vertical-spinners/),<br
/>the Thin bar (designed for low-contact fights), and the
Balance
Beam (designed to maximize stability). However, Fallen Windmill
was again unable to replicate its first season's success,
leaving the tournament at 1-2, having its only win in the first
round against a rookie.
For #22, Fallen Windmill returned much the same as in
previous seasons, but with longer anti-flip prongs. However, it
went 0-3.

Fallen Windmill vs Haymaker
In the losers' bracket Fallen Windmill faced hand-powered
flipper

/>Haymaker
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/haymaker/.<br
/>Early on, Windmill was flipped by Haymaker but self-righted;
Haymaker had also flipped in the hit but it too self-righted.
After a few more hits Haymaker lost one of its wheel pods and
was counted out, giving Windmill its first victory.
Fallen Windmill vs Axe
Next up for Windmill was Ethan's large hammerbot
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/hammersaxes/<br
/>Axe. Windmill lost its entire weapon housing in the first hit,
but ended up winning and advanced to fight David's full-body
spinner
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/full-body-spinners/<br
/>Chopper.
Fallen Windmill vs Chopper
There were several big hits early on, and then David raised
Chopper

/>on one side so that the two impacted at an odd angle—the hit
sent Chopper out of the BattleBox

/>and into a low bookshelf. David was able to get back in, but
Windmill continued to control the fight. The fight went to a
judge's decision which Windmill won, putting it in the finals in
a rematch against Tearnado III.
Fallen Windmill vs Tearnado III
Tearnado III won the title by a judge's decision. Windmill was
eliminated.
Fallen Windmill vs Axe
The two faced each other in an exhibition match. The first hit
broke Windmill's bar in half. However, it ended up being able to
jam one of Axe's wheels and knock the other bot out.

Fallen Windmill blew a massive chunk off Thick with its first
hit. It then continued to damage the other bot, ripping off a
wheel, before being flipped and counted out. Windmill joined the
losers' bracket and faced the rookie vertical

/>bar spinner
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/spinning-bars/<br
/>Skeleton

Fallen Windmill vs Skeleton
The two charged and met in the middle of the box, and the
ensuring weapon-to-weapon hit blasted off half of Skeleton's
spinner, but flipped Windmill onto its back again. Windmill was
counted out and eliminated from the tournament.
Fallen Windmill vs Chopper (exhibition match)
These two faced each other again in an exhibition match.
Windmill did well at first but was eventually knocked out.

Fallen Windmill vs Byte
Fallen Windmill was seeded against superheavyweight shell
spinner
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/shell-spinners/<br
/>Byte. It won by KO after Byte lost its shell and tapped out.
Fallen Windmill vs Death Rattle
Next up for FW was the drum spinner Death Rattle
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/death-rattle/msg258/#msg258.<br
/>While its weapon was not able to get any good hits on the
other
bot, FW ended up winning by JD. It then advanced for a rematch
with Skeleton.
Fallen Windmill vs Skeleton
The first hit was a big weapon-on-weapon one. Skeleton was
knocked sideways and FW's bar was slightly lifted on its axle.
Eventually FW was flipped over and the countdown started. FW's
weapon was out of commission and Dutch resorted to spinning it
on its head to try to flip back. Then suddenly its weapon
started working again and it was able to self-right with only
about two seconds left on the count. Finally it was flipped
again and counted out.
Fallen Windmill vs Chopper
Fallen Windmill was KO'd and eliminated from the tournament
again.
Fallen Windmill vs Skeleton (exhibition match)
Dutch had updated FW's bar and added anti-flip prongs on the
sides and back. The two spinners went weapon-to-weapon, and
initially FW did well, but by the eighth hit it had lost its
weapon. The fight went to a decision which FW lost.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 21.0
Fallen Windmill vs Floppy
Fallen Windmill started off its season with a match against
rookie flipper Floppy
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/floppy/,<br
/>and ran the Balance Beam for this match. FW's gear system was
not working properly in this fight. The fight was quite even,
with neither bot able to land a big hit, but the Balance Beam
proved to be weak to vertical stresses, partially breaking
apart. Finally the two collided hard enough to knock off one of
Floppy's wheel pods and flip FW. FW was able to self-right and
Floppy was counted out.
Fallen Windmill vs Chopper
HTML https://r.ddmcdn.com/s_f/o_1/SCI/uploads/2017/08/bb105_tombstone_witchdoctor.gif
The hit looked something like this, but mirrored and with a top
hitting an overhead horizontal.
Neither bot was able to get a big advantage at first, with both
getting sent flying by the impacts. Then a huge hit from Chopper
flipped FW over. FW was counted out and forced to join the
losers' bracket. It was put up against rookie offset horizontal
spinner Tank.
Fallen Windmill vs Tank
In the first hit, FW danced around Tank before chopping off part
of its spinner mechanism. The two bots then went
weapon-to-weapon a few times, and FW was flipped twice. However,
it was able to self-right both times. Then one more
weapon-to-weapon hit split FW's bar in half. FW was then flipped
but managed once again to self-right. The fight went to a JD
which FW lost, eliminating it.
Ethan revealed after the fight that the destruction of the
little piece on top of Tank's weapon had actually improved its
performance.

Fallen Windmill vs Floppy
HTML https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/battlebots/images/d/d2/Beta_Bloodsport_WCVII_slam.gif/revision/latest?cb=20230423164253
Fallen Windmill was seeded against Floppy again.
The first hit pushed FW's bar up on its axle, and it was
then unable to get engagement in the flipper's sloped armor.
Floppy won a JD.
Fallen Windmill vs Whiplash
FW's next opponent was Dutch's rookie lifter Whiplash.
FW smashed the top off Whiplash early on, but then its bar
broke and it was rammed into two pieces before being counted
out. However, since it had damaged Whiplash so badly, the latter
was unable to continue into its next fight and so FW subbed in
for it.
Fallen Windmill vs Tank
Fallen Windmill's bar broke in half, and it ended up being
flipped, counted out, and eliminated from the tournament yet
again.
