Left Hook Jr.'s original look was much like the real BattleBot
Brutus
HTML https://battlebots.fandom.com/wiki/Brutus,
shown here.
Left Hook Jr. vs Unnamed
Left Hook Jr. took Unnamed's hits and knocked it to the rug.
Unnamed got back in, but then the same thing happened. Unnamed
was counted out and Left Hook Jr. won by KO. This win put Left
Hook Jr. in the finals, where is faced the 3-time champion
GyroWave
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/gyrowave/.
Left Hook Jr. vs GyroWave
The first hit broke off GyroWave's blades, but Left Hook Jr.
took damage as well with a chunk taken off the front. GyroWave
continued to keep the advantage, ramming pieces of Left Hook
Jr.'s armor off. Suddenly Left Hook Jr. knocked GyroWave to the
rug. Dutch paused the fight and asked David, Deacon and
Nathaniel if that counted as a knockout if he couldn't get off.
They said yes, and David began the countdown as Dutch
frantically tried to get GyroWave off the rug by turning the
spinner system. However, he ended up getting it high-centered,
and was counted out. Left Hook Jr. won by KO. However, Dutch
requested a rematch in a different fighting area.
Left Hook Jr. vs GyroWave
This time Left Hook Jr. was smashed, though its spinner
amusingly keep spinning on the floor. GyroWave won by KO and
Left Hook Jr. had to share its first title.

Ethan redesigned Left Hook Jr. as a lower wedgebot with a
gear-powered spinner.
Left Hook Jr. vs MilliByte
Left Hook Jr. won by KO easily and advanced to the next round.
Left Hook Jr. vs Executioner
Left Hook Jr. won.
Left Hook Jr. vs GyroWave
The first few hits did little, as the bots could barely
strike each other with their primary weapons. Then Dutch decided
to lift up the front of his bot as he pushed it in an attempt to
ram Left Hook Jr.'s spinner. The next hit launched GyroWave into
the air, and as it landed on Left Hook Jr. its blades broke off.
The GyroWave was able to take off one of Left Hook's wheels. The
fight was paused as the referee (David) examined the bot to see
if its wheels were touching the ground. Finally it was decided
that Left Hook was still in the fight. After a few more hits,
Ethan tapped out as the baseplate of his bot was cracking.
GyroWave won by KO again.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 6.0
Left Hook Jr. vs MilliByte
Left Hook Jr. again won by KO easily and advanced to the next
round, where it faced Ethan's new bot, Stab
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/stab/.
Left Hook Jr. vs Stab
David drove Left Hook Jr. this time. David drove well,
recovering from getting high-centered and driving on three
wheels, winning by KO and taking the title.
All-Team Tournament 2.0
Left Hook Jr. vs Carnage
Carnage was utterly destroyed in the first hit. Left Hook Jr.
won by KO and advanced to the next round.
Left Hook Jr. vs Son of Razor
Left Hook Jr. won by KO again and advanced to the finals, where
it faced GyroWave again.
Left Hook Jr. vs GyroWave
The fight began well for Left Hook Jr. as GyroWave lost both
ends of its bar in the first hit, but damaged Left Hook Jr.'s
wedge. The fight continued with no damage until Left Hook Jr.
lost a wheel. The fight went the distance and the judges awarded
Left Hook Jr. the victory and the championship in a 2-1 split
decision. This decision was mildly controversial, with Dutch
arguing that GyroWave deserved the win, but it did not lead to
an bad blood.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 10.0
Left Hook Jr. vs Tearnado
The first hit sent Tearnado
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/tearnado/<br
/>across the BattleBox
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/patterson-battlebox/<br
/>and knocked Left Hook Jr. back as well. Tearnado spun up again
,
but one of its teeth came off, making it unbalanced, and David
began the countdown. Dutch spun Tearnado into the wall again and
again in an attempt to make its balanced, but he only succeeded
in destroying it. Left Hook Jr. won by KO in one hit and
advanced to fight Ethan's other bot Phoenix.
Left Hook Jr. vs Phoenix
Dutch drove Phoenix
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/phoenix/<br
/>this time. Phoenix was knocked out of the arena and counted ou
t.
However, since Phoenix won the loser's bracket, Left Hook Jr.
was forced to fight it again.
Left Hook Jr. vs Phoenix
Left Hook Jr. won by KO and won the title.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 11.0
In response to a change in the rules limiting wedge length,
Ethan rebuilt LHJ again, going back to the original "weapon
towers" design.
Left Hook Jr. vs I
Left Hook Jr. had control from the start, but I was able to take
some pieces off. Then I jumped over LHJ, and stuck the landing
somehow. Finally, though, LHJ flipped I, which was counted out.
Left Hook Jr. vs Phoenix
Left Hook Jr. won again.
Left Hook Jr. vs Phoenix
Phoenix forfeited, as Ethan didn't want the same fight again.
LHJ thus won the title again.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 12.0
Left Hook Jr. vs Phoenix
LHJ won again and advanced to the next round to fight Dutch's
new bot Hello.
Left Hook Jr. vs Hello
Left Hook Jr. was forced to forfeit, as it was found to weigh
over 500 grams, far over the weight limit.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 13.0
Left Hook Jr. vs Beetle
Left Hook Jr. was seeded against whoever won the fight between
Built to Hurt Verts
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/built-to-hurt-verts/msg242/#msg242<br
/>and Beetle. Beetle won that fight and thus fought LHJ.
LHJ did very poorly at first, with its weapon towers
breaking and its frame bending. Finally Ethan dodged Beetle's
charge and won by OOTA when Beetle drove out. Next up was
another rematch with fellow veteran Son of Razor.
Left Hook Jr. vs Son of Razor
LHJ's weapon was disabled quite quickly by SOR, but then it
rammed the smaller bot out of the arena. David drove back in on
the one-count and the fight resumed. Finally it went to JD and
SOR won in a huge upset. LHJ joined the losers' bracket for the
first time ever.
Left Hook Jr. vs Squash
Dutch drove LHJ. After a few good collisions, LHJ ended up stuck
on its back. Dutch tried to self-right by firing the weapon, but
the gears had slipped. LHJ was counted out, and, shockingly,
eliminated.
Patterson-Seibert test matches
Circle of Death vs Left Hook Jr.
The builders had wanted this fight for quite a while. LHJ won
the first two fights when CoD flipped due to the power of its
weapon, but lost the third.
All-Team Tournament 5.0
Left Hook Jr. vs Joe
Left Hook Jr. rammed Joe apart and won by KO.
Left Hook Jr. vs Circle of Death
LHJ lost by KO after taking some massive hits and joined to the
losers' bracket.
Left Hook Jr. vs Son of Razor
Left Hook Jr. lost in a huge upset and was eliminated.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 15.0
Left Hook Jr. vs Max
LHJ beat Max by KO and advanced to the second round to fight the
winner of the losers' bracket, which turned out to be Squash.
Left Hook Jr. vs Squash (trifinals)
LHJ lost and was eliminated.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 16.0
Left Hook Jr. vs Jackspinner
LHJ won in a close fight and advanced to the next round to face
the new flipper
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/flippers/<br
/>Haymaker
HTML https://bugforums.createaforum.com/lego-battlebots-wiki/haymaker/.
Left Hook Jr. vs Haymaker
LHJ won and advanced to the finals to face the winner of the
losers' bracket, which turned out to be Haymaker.
Left Hook Jr. vs Haymaker
LHJ won the title by KO.
Patterson-Seibert Tournament 17.0
LHJ was too heavy (550 grams) but was allowed in anyway and
received a bye.
Left Hook Jr. vs Chopper
LHJ won by KO and went on to the next round.
Left Hook Jr. vs Haymaker
Haymaker was KO'd in the first impact. LHJ advanced to fight
Chopper again.
Left Hook Jr. vs Chopper (finals)
HTML https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/battlebots/images/0/08/End_Game_Gigabyte_WCVII_1.gif/revision/latest?cb=20230416200251
The first hit was strange—LHJ took a hit to the wedge, and then
an instant later knocked Chopper flying almost OOTA with its
spinner. Chopper spun back in and was then OOTA'd again. It got
back one more time before being OOTA'd again and breaking apart.
Chopper was counted out and LHJ won the title for the last time.
