My insight into Trixie, and why I love her.

This has been a question that has come from the mouth of a few
of my fellow clan members, and my friends. Why is The Great and
Powerful Trixie my favorite pony?
Most people hate Trixie with a passion, because they see her as
a liar, a cheat, and a fraud. And I can see why. But to fully
understand Trixie's motives, you have to look at it from her
point of view.
Trixie is a showmare. That's her profession. She makes a living
by showing her fans a grand time, filled with fireworks,
stories, and entertainment. Now, I will admit that she had a...
unique way of showing it, but Trixie cares deeply for her fans.
The reason she challenges her audience is because she is more
powerful than the average unicorn in magic, and she is also
quite clever. Because of this, she can outsmart her foes.
She does this because there is no reason for putting on a show
if there's someone better than her. There is no point of
watching a pony's show unless they are good at what they do.
Now, she made up the Ursa Major story to impress her fans.
Again, there is no point in watching some pony's shows unless
they are good at what they do, and having a story like that is a
surefire way to prove it.
When Snips and Snails brought the Ursa Minor to Ponyville,
Trixie had no choice but to admit that her story was false. So,
Twilight came out, and showed Trixie up.
But, you also have to take into account that Twilight has
studied magic for her entire life, and is the student of the
most magically gifted pony in all of Equestria, Princess
Celestia. Trixie then fled because she was struck with
embarrassment.
Because of these events, news had spread that Trixie was a
fraud, and had been bested by a nameless unicorn. No one came to
her shows. She decided that in order for her to make a return
back to show buisness, she had to defeat Twilight. However, due
to her absence of work, she had no money, no food, and because
her caravan got destroyed, no shelter. That's why it took so
long for her to come back. Because she had to walk all the way
back from (insert major city) to Ponyville. Which is a fair
walk.
Along the way, she would have heard rumors about the Alicorn
Amulet, so she probably did some work to get some money.
Probably some work that she's not proud of.
So, we all know what happened in Magic Duel. She waltzed into
town with the Alicorn Amulet, defeated Twilight, and banished
her. Having regained her pride, she decided to spend a little
time in Ponyville, relaxing, for the first time in a year.
When Twilight challenged her, Trixie felt her honor taking over.
Trixie had challenged Twilight to a rematch, so it was fair to
let Twilight to challenge her back. When Twilight started
beating her, Trixie saw the opportunity to truly become what she
has always told her fans she was. The most powerful unicorn in
all of Equestria.
So, that's why she stole Twilight's false amulet. However, when
she found out that the amulet was a fake, Rainbow had already
taken her old one from her reach. She had taken a gamble, and
she lost.
However, because Twilight had beaten her with the same smoke and
mirrors that Trixie often uses, Trixie felt her respect for
Twilight increase, and she left without an argument, now pleased
that word of her victory will spread, and she can finally return
to her career in showbiz.
Jeez, that almost turned into a story. Actually, I should make a
fimfic about this. What do you guys think? Anyway, that's why I
love Trixie.

This was a fine piece of writing my good friend Also within this
good chunk of writing you have explained why Trixie is my second
favourite pony out of them all.
