Mmmph, yesterday afternoon I was feeling pretty pleased with
myself, jostling for position with B9 and in 71st place overall.
This evening I am one of the most westward boats and currently
in 924th position - how quickly it can all go wrong. Why didn't
I see that there is loads more wind (like nearly 3 times as
much) to the east? And B9 is now nearly 20 miles ahead -
Grrrrr. Need to concentrate more.
Mind you, this is nothing new, I always seem to lose it towards
the end of a leg...... >:(

B9 hit Jikohay hard - I'd set a waypoint clearly off the coast
set on a laptop - it looked dodgy on the mobile but I figured
that was just poor graphics - big mistake! Always learning.

I love the 3D viewer it appropriately shows a static boat!
I missed the bus not going behind the island, even going aground
on it. I thought those choosing that route would struggle
against a westerly trend in wind direction. In fact the wind
seems very variable, each time I come back to this episode the
wind has changed everything apart from being less than 3 knots!
