Well, B9FUN is almost to Cape Town and it looks like IG will be
second.
My challenge is now with HF and depending on how much work I
have to do this weekend, I think I'm heading for le lantern
rouge.

IG does seem to have the faster run in but it's going to be

IG has done amazing work to catch LK. Good sailing to both.
I thought this leg was weird because the race standings were all
cockeyed. It was only when we turned East in the Southern
Atlantic we could know where we really were. The fact you can
only see the positions of the top 50 meant that it was difficult
to see the real picture.
Not so much on the next leg, as it's a nearly the same as the
clipper that we just finished. I look forward to close racing
with all of you, and a better result than the clipper run. I
still think I'll tend toward the south, but we'll see.
I'm still missing a polar chart for both the clipper and the
VO65 - any suggestions?

Thanks B9. I agree that the race standings have meant very
little on this leg. In the last few days, IG has made about
40,000 places! I guess it's a feature of the way distances to
the finish are measured.
We are concentrating hard on board IG, with LK nipping at our
heels; it's going to be a tense run in!
