Somehow, I've managed to gain a little on IG, however, the big
news is the gains made by B9 & BR. If mine and VRs numbers are
correct, they are 100nm better than 24hrs ago.

We're trucking along nicely to the South but it all comes to a
grinding halt about 3-4 days out. To the far north it looks
like the wind will fill and be a tail wind, which Your Mum will
hope to exploit. But I think she'll have to venture quite far
north to get advantage.
Our best option will probably be to head west of New Britain to
the Dampier Straight before heading north. It's another major
addition to the total distance we are asked to cover. I suspect
we will have covered >50% extra miles.
Then it depends on the winds north from PNG, but that's further
away than the Windy.tv forecast, and subject to a lot of change.
Overall we're enjoying the current speed and still optimistic
that we can make the strategy sucessful despite the extra miles.
