       I know back in the day "jumping ship" was a capital offence
       (apparently my Great, G, Grandfather did it in NZ - according to
       family legend) as they couldn't sail the boat back without the
       crew.
       But right now, if your vessel stopped in St Verde, you would,
       wouldn't you!
