Going to be interesting to see how those of us on the northern
route (a bit more wind but further to sail) play out against
those further south (lighter winds but a more direct route and
favourable forecast). Sweat on the brow of the IG navigator.
A nice, gentle race though.

Not so much "despatched" as you sailed away north. These yachts
seem to sail just as well at 90 as they do at the 130 favoured
by most of the VR races. Maybe it changes should the wind
increase. Meanwhile I'm staying south of the group. Weather
ahead looks turbulent and I think we'll all be bow into the wind
before we reach the Azores.

Agree with B9 us up north going around twa130 don't seem to have
a speed advantage over the southern group at the moment.Think
the Weather ahead look a bit turbulent for all like you said as
we approach the high then I think it will be about who's best
placed for the upwind to the finish.
Going to be close anyone could come out ahead on this one
