       Well our top 4 friends have sailed off into the sunset (so to
       speak).
       However, we have a few battles; CT and JB is identically spec'd
       boats and very close.
       Also Carina and myself in unmatched boats.
       Good look everyone, now off to see if I can avoid some hairys in
       the Atlantic.

       Remarkable how this race has split in two - cruel luck on those
       who  missed the cut, but still a race to be had.

       I have to admit to having fallen foul of someone plying me with
       too much grog on a Saturday night (Sunday morning) and not being
       is control of either yacht.  I seem to have selected the wrong
       route out of Mauritius and ever since have been making course
       changes as the wind seemed to shift.  Time to stop caring and
       hit the hay!

       I think JB will get past as he'll have better wind in a couple
       of hours.  JB does have the added advantage of foils, so I know
       where my money is on this one.  Serves me right for not paying
       attention at the gate and sailing past by 40nm and paying too
       much attention to the far more interesting Dubai race.
       Oh and LK, JB & CT aren't that close ... I'm in 2013 th and he's
       way ahead in 2002 nd !
