HF has nipped past IG and B9 passed LK during the night.
Not sure about B9, however I'm not liking the big fleet position
numbers.

Gives us 48,552 boats to get past! that's better than only
getting past 5. Isn't it?
I think we're starting to get positions for nearer the equator
where it looks like if we get too close to Brazil (too far W)
we'll face a head wind. On the other hand if we're not far
enough W there's a drop in wind in 24 hrs. A balancing act. But
our blast across the southern ocean is much more fascinating and
less certain. I think LK has the upper hand both geographically
and with the upcoming wind shifts.

I think despite the numbers LK and B9 are better placed in the
longer term, with good breeze and angle, and in good shape to
tackle the doldrums. For IG and HF close to the coast the
forecast looks a bit light and we have to decide whether to
stick with it or strike out to the west. Difficult!
