       Some good 48 hr distances.  LK storming home - last time she
       averaged 18.43 knts and this she's currently on 18.11, but
       currently over 30 knots. At this speed she should be home in
       less than 30 hrs which will be very close to her PB (and way
       better than mine!).

       Thank you so much for all the great reports - I've finished now.
       I am however a little confused over VR (not for the first or
       last time)
       ** I passed Cape Horn - before my shadow and received a slower
       recorded gate time.
       ** I second attempt was quicker than my first, but you think the
       average speed was slower.
       I've come to the conclusion maths is not their strong point.
       Anyway - I did enjoy it - however, not quite the same as when we
       sailing together. I have also come to the conclusion, I maybe a
       better RtW sailor than the smaller races - probably because the
       chances of hairy's is reduced.
       Until the next one - thanks everyone, especially B9 for stepping
       up when VR stopped my from starting and doing an awesome job.

       Emma,  I didn't see you final time so my average speed was based
       on your previous attempt
