I used IG's technique that he used to pass me in the last race
... only fair, though I did my best to warn him. :P ::) :o

On that note, the forecast suggests the wind is going to back to
the west in about 6 hours, so I'll be heading Sth at that point.
It then comes more from the Sth in the 24 hr forecast, so I'll
turn East. That's just by looking at the time projection and
reading the bend (and the scrolly wind thingy).
So 8:30- 9pm tonight I'm heading Sth.

(cc'd from yesterdays chat) comment was made at 3:30pm today so
it's looking like 9pm for my turn to 165 +/-
I'd welcome critique from the more experienced members!! :)
(or anyone actually) ... it is only my interpretation ...

9:15 and the turn Sth made. Heading 168.
This will be interesting, I've refreshed, but not seen any
others make the turn as yet. Fingers & everything else crossed!
Current ranking 2997th

I used to be indecisive but.... anyway I think I'll be turning
south at midnight. So a little after Carl.

Following the leader B9?
Well as they're probably using Zezo or something that makes good
sense. Besides you're 2hrs ahead of me, so I'd do the same once
I'd rounded Anguilla. But as I'm chasing I have to do something
different.
The wind shift is only happening now, lets see. Think I'll get
a good nights sleep in any case.

Well, it was about time someone scored some Hairy Trophy points,
so IG volunteered - notwithstanding a generous warning from CT,
for which thanks - as he sailed by.
IG going for the late tack option, leaving the islands to
starboard. Bit late now to catch any of you, though.

I guess you spent about 2 hours at your Beach BBQ as you had
been 1.5 hours ahead of me. I'd logged in about 30mins prior to
shooting the gap to round mark 4 (having run aground in the last
race within spitting distance of the line).
WTF IG shouldn't be there??? Zoomed in .... ahh. What do I
do?? VR's coms is no good as if you're already logged in you'll
know. So I PM'd him hoping this Britpack Forum thingy would
send him an email ... and it did! Yeah us! Good to know in
future.

Thanks, I did wonder if that would work - many thanks IG and CT
for volunteer to test out this feature ;-)
