Like LK, there's not much to say from IG either! We drift
downwind.

I've manage to pick up a couple of hours on B9 (think he still
has my number) and I'll keep banging on East until after Bali as
that seems to be where the pressure is.
The main thing I've learned (from B9) is that Polish is worth
more than a Code 0. Polish 1% on all points of sail, Code 0
used for 150nm (Sth of Ceylon) and 3x the cost.

Ran aground. That's lost me 3-4 hours as I'll have to back
track another couple of hours as it couldn't have been a worse
location. Must get better at setting my alarm. or figure out how
to use way-points/programming. :'(

Oh no, another contestant for our hairy trophy (grounding) :)
As a previous winner of this trophy (multiple times), my advice
is: way points are more accurate, but you have to do the maths
to calculate wind angles. Programme course changes are easier
but subject to drift, especially with an on-shore wind and
weather change.
Hope you enjoyed your time ashore.

Actually I found it was a bit too touristy on Kuta Beach, so I
just turned around and left ...

Bad luck, Carl, but doubtless you gave them something to talk
about.
