       Hi Em
JellyBean has Light and Reaching sails. Looks like an
interesting route in an area I have not sailed but sadly lacking
       in wind.
       Cheers
       James

Not got a good feeling about being this far south, and our nav
is pinning hopes on getting through this transition zone without
       too much damage.

As long as we arrive in the southern wind zone with a wind angle
more than 135 degrees we can still make a southerly course. It
look like the wind to the south is veering, and toward the east
will be northerly enough in 36hrs or so. It's going to be slow
going to get through to this and those to the north will be
revelling in 14 knt winds when B9 will be struggling in the 2
       knts range.
Hopefully the rewards will come later when we are in more steady
       winds.

My intention is to continue heading SE for another 4-5 hours
until the wind drops off (20knts) then gybe NE towards the
equator and make use of the pressure. Then hopefully gybe SE
again and reach btwn the "rhum" line and Java.
That's assuming I log in at the right times, which I've failed
to do several times this race. Must get around to loading the
phone App ... and finding my password.
