Wow what a crazy 24hrs - we spotted the U boat pack early and
our planned erratic course (8 nav changes) seemed to avoid being
sunk.
Mind you, at breakfast LK was not pointing in the expected
direction and was planned to do an 360 loop.
Still not out of the channel - perhaps I may visit a south coast
port for a quick meal !!!

What a crazy 24 hours indeed. B9’s position on the French side
looks to give the best wind angle for the moment - another good
call.
I know a good fish and chip shop in Folkestone, Em.

Things are dire indeed here in mid Channel, with B9 managing to
open up a 13 mile gap from IG in the last few hours. Good
sailing.
Note that Stargazer and others who went round the top are
romping down the North Sea with 10kts on the beam.
It’s not going well!

"Trean" a Swedish boat is about to get to Cuxhaven - less than
10 miles out, and position 14,794. It will be interesting to see
what happens when she reaches port! The boats that have finished
came through the channel.
