Hi Skippers,
1 . . . . . . . . Inspector Gadget (LHR/f) . . . . . . .
.+1874.63nm
2 . . . . . . . . Lockkeeper7 (LR/fwp). . . . . . . . . . . . .
+4.53nm
3 . . . . . . . . Huckleberry Finn (?) . . . . . . . . . . . .
. +26.9nm
As the great Murray Walker used to say "catching is one thing,
passing is something else"
Onboard LK, we are straining the Code O to see if we can catch
Gadget - who we can clearly see.
Meanwhile, we are watching over the transom for HF who has been
steadily catching throughout the last 24+ hours.
In around 7 hrs we will loose the site of land and just have
each other & the grey North Atlantic.
Yesterdays

The straining is paying off - we on IG can feel LK breathing
down our necks. Perhaps your foils are working better than
mine!

Lol - during the night I got to within a couple of miles, but
realised that max speed is going to put me into poorer
conditions later - so eased a little to try and track a little
further north.
Our navigator is once again keeping out of the crews way as they
had been straining so hard - tough life. Still a few miles to
go . . . . ;-)
The next job for this morning onboard my boat is to investigate
a stiff throttle/gear linkage - hopefully it will just be the
cable which needs some tic
