I have my sail/life balance out of kilter right now. My access
to Internet limited over the next few days, I think I may just
have to straight line this massive wind shift later today. So -
no I'm not adopting a strange route with a cunning plan - I'm
just trying to get access where I can and planning has gone out
the window!
This has also affected my Volvo start but I hope to be back on
the helm soon.
It's a little annoying since with the fleet postion we are
enjoying I'd like to be paying attention. Then again, I've
often found that not paying attention and straight lining often
works out better than my planning!

It's annoying that real life sometimes gets in the way! I've
spent the last 10 days with intermittent internet access on a
iPhone (not for the visually challenged), and I agree that just
sailing a straight line is sometimes just as fast as trying all
sorts of clever tactics.
