thanks L7 for keeping tabs on us all. I managed to go away for a
couple of days and break my phone with no other internet access
available, so some catching up required. It could have been
worse I very nearly hit South America!

Probably starboard too. I reckon this will be the eighth or
ninth time round the Horn virtually for IG, and possibly more
for some of you. Remember sailing from wind square to wind
square - and the tyranny of the 0700/1900 wind change? Happy
days.
IG is less than half a day behind B9 and LK, so we're hoping
that the S Atlantic will throw up a passing lane or two.
So very sad today to hear of the loss of a crew member. Looks
like the fleet is having a really tough time.
