Hi Skippers,

4 . . . . . . . . B9FUN (R) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Well, I calculate IG is about 24hrs from the line - very well
done :)
It's been interesting comparing boat option with IG - currently
IG is same TWA, wind 13.0kts compared with my 13.8 and yet IG is
making 10.8kts compared with my 10.4.
So my guess is some of this is his Light Gen but not all - clean
bottom, foils??
Meanwhile, HF is hugging the coast and B9 is about to clear his
last island.
Well done everyone, Sleep well tonight.

Can't explain this. More than once I've been on the same TWA
and in the same wind as other competitors yet seen speed
differences of up to half a knot (slower and faster). Of course,
options will make a difference, but there does seem to be a lack
of consistency in the game.
I've managed to accumulate enough programme cards to do a couple
of gybes tonight without leaving my bunk, fortunately.
Have a peaceful night all.

I've always found it pretty consistent but 145 degree = 144.5 -
144.4999 and the same with wind speed. I don't think the
direction is in whole degrees - it is when you set it but as the
wind changes...
I'm looking forward to dumping this boat tonight!
