Penquin is now 197th - great sailing, also to D2,B9 & IG, this
leg certainly had and is still giving challenges.

I certainly made some mistakes this leg and some unfavourable
weather changes, but I feel we all sailed a good leg and yet I
find myself struggling to get in the first 6,000 boats. I think
we have a significant increase in the number and standard of VR
VOR sailors. It makes Sideshow and Phil's performance on
Penguin all the more impressive.

Ditto! I don’t think we made any big mistakes but there are
some pretty canny sailors in this fleet who have an enviable
ability consistently to find the fastest way through sometimes
quite complex weather patterns which defeat bears of small
brains like me. But it’s been and interesting and enjoyable
leg, as ever.
Hang in there HF and LK. We look forward to greeting you in
Auckland.
