Sorry you're under the weather, Emma. Not much fun that. Hope
you can stay warm in the big chill coming.
IG has been progressively headed over the past 24 hours,
limiting our options, but we've closed up a bit on B9 . At
least we are sailing in wind, and we should be lifted again in a
day or so. Looks like Penguin & Co have escaped and are away -
good luck to them. But Just keep an eye on Your Mom SA and co
barrelling on from the north!
How are things on HF, Mike?

When i say wind its more off a puff really but at least im
moving rather than drifting, the eastern boys are still a real
threat but there is nothing i can do about now, If the forecast
remains as it is i am considering going between the north and
south islands and back up to Auckland but we shall see. Sorry
your under the weather Em but at least its 27degs topside. hope
all get some fresh wind soon, Phil

I've been watching IG sneaking up - don't think I didn't notice.
How Rob's done it, since he's much closer to the wind than I,
I'm not really sure. I think IG benefited from a patch of wind
overnight that I missed. But we're headed for a little more
breeze and hopefully a clear sail to NZ.
I wish it was 27 degrees topside here. Any notion of actually
being in the Pacific Islands is quickly dispelled by a very cold
wind as soon as I leave the house, - best stay in and postulate
on how to keep my postion from sliding.
