I'm not sure if we've had such a large course deviation across
our fleet for a couple of years. What's it like 'up north'
       Penquin, IG and B9?
D2 is mid field - HF & LK down south.
Good look wherever you are . . . Em

900+ miles of separation is certainly unusual! Up north, it's
been a bit scary initially sailing way from the finish, but
things looking better as we turn south with the wind on the
beam. It's a long way round, but looking quite good at the
       moment (he said hopefully).

As you know, I found it really difficult to stay with the
leaders who really got a lead on me and were able to get real
north. With the wind shifting around, I could work out how to
get through the Okinawa islands. I bailed out and just ran
through the gybe dead downwind as the front passed over me. A
lack of dedication on my part, but I seem to have come out not
too bad, and only a bit behind.
There are still some boats way north and cooking while we hover
just behind this front, and I according to Windy.tv the wind is
       going die down for us.
Meanwhile looks like you guys down south have a nice
anti-cyclone to get your teeth into, and then a nice run down
       the coast.
       Much still to play for.

The next 24 hours or so could spell my undoing, and once clear
of storm centre the winds are not all that favourable either.
