Well, quite a bit of change on our leader board - congrats to IG
who has jumped 3 places into second, also to HF for passing me
into fourth place ;-)
One of things about this game that annoys me is that the real
boats seems to catchup and pass the VR boats quite easily -
therefore the VR game engine and corresponding Polars must be
very wrong. Also, IF the presented data for real boats is
correct, they can sail well at TWA’s of 165->170! Unless you
real sailors have an answer.
Ok, I will see those of you sailing the Hobart to Whitsundays on
the line but not really awake.

It seems to vary from leg to leg. On the VOR leg to Melbourne
we beat the real boats in by some days for come reason (perhaps
because we didn't have an ice exclusion zone?). They do seem to
be able to sail different wind angles from us, though.
SE trades holding up nicely for the moment. Must make the best
of them!
