Starting from Rio: What route to choose to Tokio ?

I've just signed up for this race. I have equipped with
Reaching sail option.

I have no idea about possible routes to Tokio. I'm thinking of
initially going north from Rio, with options to then go via
Northern Canada or round the North of Russia. Any ideas welcome.

I am going the opposite way to the rest of the fleet and appear
to have just one boat following me, Geogo
I hope there are more invisible boats to keep me company..

Cornishstorm has just overtaken me on the starboard side, making
20.4kt in 11.7kt wind, taking advantage of the stronger wind
further off the coast.

Geogo is coming up behind me, where Penguin and ragtimeblues
have now appeared.
It's nice to have some company. Regarding ranking, I have lost
about 5000 places in last 24 hrs.

Hi both,
Since the Vendee, I've been posting to myself on this forum and
was considering closing it soon. Now I have some company I will
post some race details tomorrow ;-)
