Well, that's a shock, LK is leading (for the moment) probably
more due to direction of travel, than actual speed.
Interesting, I've been monitoring Sideshow and interested to see
how far south they are going.

Thanks Emma and well done you! I think the last 18-24 hours for
your lead 1000 group is a race clincher, I cannot foresee anyone
outside top 1000 getting to Melbourne before y'all.
I'm in strong winds for a while now but at a bad twa so not
gaining as much as hoped. As I said if i was 2 hours ahead I
would be flying, instead I'm struggling at 149-152 degs and
still tacking downwind! Gained a little on HF though.

Good going, LK, well done.
It's interesting that the north/south spread of the fleet is now
over 200 miles. Looks like the northern boats will get stronger
winds while those to the south get the better wind angle. We on
IG are hedging our bets by staying in the middle of the spread -
could lose out to both wings, though!
