IG does look to be ahead of LK on the water, but the VR
measurement of mileage is always a bit of a mystery!

Moral quiet low on Penquin dropped nearly 48hrs on Sea Hog so it
pretty much game over unless there's a car park waiting for
those in front, Im arranging for some grog to be waiting when i
round the horn so at least we can be be merry on the way home ho
ho ho. I dont think i do very well when there are two races on
the go, after all im a bloke and we know we cant multi task.

It's been a bad Pacific crossing and getting worse. I thought by
now we'd be in the howling gale of a South Atlantic depression
not plodding along. I'm now scheduled to be much slower than
last year and looking for a miracle Atlantic blast home or a
reset button.
