Programmation or setting a timed course change

Relatively straightforward, but cost me a few cards trying it
out!
When you've finished programming the change simply click the
cross in the top right corner. You can play around with the
setting before confirming by exiting as above. Note the you
loose 1 programming card each time, if you click on the
programmed time to confirm it will ask if you want the time
deleted - you don't get your card back. So, to confirm just
close the dialogue box by clicking the X.

I have just been testing the programme function.
It looks like
Turn 1 costs one card,
Turn 2 costs two further cards,
Turn 3 costs three further cards.
Let me know if I’ve lost it, if not, then this is rubbish!

What I have found is that it's great to reuse my programmed
course change. I set up a course change (using a card) and
adjust it as I can then see the course I've planned. If it
needs changing at anytime, it apparently can be changed without
penalty. Course planned, VR gives me the time at which that
course change will occur. Set alarm for 5 minutes before. Make
the change manually and reset the programmed change for another
time up to 24 hrs in advance.
Of course if you've been gifted lots of cards you won't need to
use this tip!

Good idea, and works well. Thanks for the tip.
I also wondered if it would be worth doing the Mini-transat,
collecting cards but not using any so that they can be added to
your total buy-back credits at the end of the leg and used in
the VOR or Clipper. But I've missed the start!
