hey ya'll, difference in pics is age 18-19
1.5 years being aware of mewing, 1 year of proper and constant
hard mewing, dabbled with facepulling as many of you know but
gave that up around the new year, chewing mastic gum for about 3
months now.

/>Amazing results truly. You are the only person till now which
I
believe has achieved the results everybody sees for himself
along the way, everybody else in my opinion half damages, half
might be looking better. I have too qustions. How are your
teeth, You used to have orthodontic work done and straight
teeth, now that you widened the jaw did the teeth come apart or
something or just the arch became bigger and everything is in
place? And your tmj is still all good?
And because you mentioned it, the mental instability, is it
caused because you became obsessed with looking better or
different causes?

I don't recommend facepulling anymore. Check my post history if
you really must.
I highly recommend hard Mewing. Enter a slight caloric surplus,
tongue to the roof of the mouth pushing forward, upwards and
laterally. Do this all day, every day. Do it consciously and
really try to feel each plate of the skull respond to your
force. If you have ever worked out in the gym then you have
likely heard of the mind-muscle connection. I believe this is
similar. You can't just push indiscriminately. You need to
really take your time and feel out the changes.
I supplement vitamin K2, d, calcium, and some other general
stuff.
Chew mastic gum for an hour a day. Alternate sides of course.

Hey man.
I did have Ortho work done. I hadn't worn my retainer for two
years in that before pic, so my teeth were sort of collapsing
back in again. Now, my palate can fit my tongue comfortably.
Smile is decently wide. I may have gained about 2 mm at the
rear. No issues with the TMJ.
Yes I am obsessed with looking better. I believe I may fall on
to the autistic spectrum. I have a very obsessive mind as a
result. The knowledge that I have and have had direct influence
on how my skull shapes itself is extremely difficult for me to
cope with. It fills me with regret knowing what could have been.
Mechanically ubderstanding human attraction and development is a
double edged sword that I will never sheathe.

great progress dude!but i've heard that if you push hard the
bones will resist the change.many recommend pushing more lightly
with the tongue

I think hard short bursts of intense force are what the bones
are built to resist, not static and sustained force. It's
debatable whether the tongue is even capable of generating what
could be viewed as hard pressure in this context. Just one
finger can easily overpower the upwards motion of the tongue.
Give it a try. Place your little finger on top of your medial /
posterior tongue and try to keep the tongue away from the
palate. It's not even hard.
Based on OP's results, I would be comfortable with suggesting to
push as hard as you want.
