here called Dr Amir in Putney for 4 months I believe he may have
treated the tanned young guy you featured in one of your
threads. .. A potted history I am 36 years old and have been on
and off anti-depressant meds since I was in a bad accident aged
17. These were prescribed initially by a counsellor but over
the last 4 years they have been administered by the eastman
dental hospital in London to dampen my pain receptors' to tmj
symptoms. I have narrow face and nose running from top left to
bottom right I use nasal sprays and allergy tablets year round,
otherwise alternate nasal passage block up when I am trying to
sleep. I presented to DR Amir with acute pain around the jaw
joints, persistent head and neck tension, inability to sleep or
rest fitfully on the right hand side (recently compounded by a
right shoulder ligament tear), sphenoid misalignment and
fatigue.
> I am approaching four months treatment with Dr Amir and am at
a crossroads that I am hoping you may be able to help with. I am
still wearing a removeable expandable upper brace and lower
brace that is intended to create spaces between the teeth. This
will eventually straighten them with the purpose of bringing my
lower jaw forward and putting less pressure on the back of my
bite. Problem is my facial symmetry and hence my symptoms are
worse now than when I began treatment when I mention this to Dr
Amir he advises I hang in there things will get better. Looking
at the parallels with your pictures and history I would be
grateful if you could share your NCR suggestion with me because
I think I can benefit massively. PFA recent picture of me

I am sorry to hear that. I'm not sure if Dr. Amir treated the
guy in the thread, is he doing face pulling on you essentially?
If only you could hear the sheer number of people who go through
these exact syndromes due to a car accident. It's really tragic
and practically nobody tells you this is one of the consequences
of hitting your head (down the road, you'll be suffering!!!)
guess it's not a very optimistic thing to be told. I can tell by
your pictures that you'd benefit from the therapy though- your
structure has similarities to mine prior to treatment -
although, you can't see in the first picture but I had an
alien-grey forehead (like, the whole top of my head bulged
out... used to be very self conscious).
Well, I'll share with you the method and everything just email
me at bstratt25@gmail.com

Hey Ben I sent you an email. Since i turned 35 I've noticed
changes in my skull that have been quite hard to pinpoint, and I
am someone who is usually aware of every change. Ive got a low,
sloping forehead with"neanderthallic" brow ridges. My septum is
deviated slightly and Ive had some mild head trauma/spinal
issues . My major dental problems were treated with extraction
orthodontics recently. Have got a family history of jaw problems
and TMJ. I am happy with how the orthodontic treatment has gone,
at least esthetically, my bite is good but I feel that the
treatment has disrupted my sphenoid somehow.
I am impressed with how you were able to make peace with your
past and turn it all around Ben. The results are very inspiring!
And I'm glad that people have not been confrontational about it
even though some people cannot be supportive of change. It's
funny how people can turn around to pat themselves on the backs
if the results are pleasing enough though.

Hi Ben and all,
I'm glad to see this forum and thread. So I just joined and
wanted to chime in about my 2nd NCR session.
I know Ben has seen before and afters of my first session, but
it's been nearly two weeks after my second and I wanted to post
pics for all to see.
Dr. Hillary Lampers, ND is the NCR doctor that performed mine.
More cheekbone prominence, palate moved forward some more, upper
and low teeth meet now, and I unwound enough and gained an inch
in height.

The following in progression (left to right) is before any NCR,
after 1st session, and after 2nd session. I lined up all lines
the best I could using screen shot and Windos Paint program...

My first session with Hillary was March 29th - April 1st.
Second session two weeks ago was July 26th (National Zumba Dance
Day!) - July 29th.
So that was just a tad over 3 months.
If everything goes well, the 3rd session will be in October
sometime. That will also give me three months for everything to
settle.
I have other NON NCR pics of before and afters I put together
just for fun.

Yes Messiah, thank you for posting your results so far. Please
keep us up to date. It looks like you have already gained
several centimeters in height at least judging by where the tips
of your ears are in the last picture. It might be partially the
lighting or the better posture but you really do look much
better already! You must be thrilled at the results!

Yes, I gained an entire inch in height from the second session.
We have to stand in the same exact spot in the markers on the
floor.
The grid behind me stayed in the same spot too, so it didn't
move, I did. lol.
