       TMD cure at home?

P.S. For those who want straight to the topic, just skip to the
       new paragraph
Hey guys, as probably some of you remember, my TMJ popped out
after chewing falim gum. Sadly, my visits to the doctor didnt
help, maybe I believed it will cure itself, maybe I should have
gone to physiotherapy at beginning, maybe I wasnt really serious
with my condition, I dont know really. Now full three months
later, problem stays, no change. I got a hour with
physiotherapists, but amazingly there is no free hours, I
managed to get a late hour for three weeks later counting from
yesterday and it is in different town. Treatment is expensive
too, a month salary in my home country, one of the reasons maybe
why I avoided it, always afraid to spend money, because of my
parents' mindsets and my mother repeating "Dont worry, it will
heal, you know how my jaw locked too and it all got better with
time, it hurts sometimes, but yeah". Fuck it seriously, this is
hell, every single day in pain with tension in the jaw, no
matter even if at moments is pretty slight you just feel that
you cant open your jaw calmly, lack of motivation, most of the
times you just want to rip your face off, desperately doing
everything that comes to mind just for some relaxation but to no
avail. Some days things are better, you start thinking "Oh, my,
is it finally healing" but then you wake up one morning and try
to test opening your jaw and horrific number of clickings appear
and the next days are hell. I have been in this circle so many
times that I have lost hope. I am so angry at myself, not for a
moment I expected something like this might happen and my
parents constantly being like "Chill" like chronic pain is worth
saving the 400 euro. And I am so angry, here in Germany it is
much more expensive. Some years ago while doing somersaults my
finger popped out of the joint. Again the same shit from my
mother "Dont worry, it will heal" and when I went to the doctors
they said the same stuff after an X-Ray "It will heal". It
didn't and the cure was so simple, I should have just went to
orthopedist the same days and he would have just tighten it to
the neighbouring finger and all is cool. Even when there was
still some time to get the proper look at it and heal it, we
were supposed to pay 15 euro and my mother was like "Are you
crazy, I pay all this health care (9 euro per Month in
comparison to here in Germany where it is 90 euro), we are going
to wait a month(or two cant exactly remember) to get it for
free" Well, what happened of course, it was too late already
when we went, nothing could be done. Really, for a finger, it is
nothing much, hurts or gets stiff from time to time, but nothing
special, the thing is that I hoped that I had learnt my lesson,
because really I had saved money and could have payed for it
myself, but this sick mindset had affected me. And if I had
payed for it myself, there wasnt going to be happiness and
chillness, there was going to be angriness, there was going to
be blame, was I happy now, how could I be so dumb, for a little
finger, who really cares and so on, I wouldnt have been left
just to relax and be happy. The same happened for the jaw, I
called for money some weeks ago and there comes the angriness,
the blame, how could I care so much, how could I not continue my
day, how she had the same problem and didnt care etc. When it
happened to my mother, the lock jaw, I couldnt make her to go to
doctor "What would they do, how would they know what to do",
nothing, I couldnt convince her and we are living next to a
hospital, she could just go for 15 minutes in the morning but
no. Really, saying all this makes my parents look like horrible
parents, well, this is not true, they are incredible, they have
cared for my education a lot, thanks to their time spent on me
its where I am at the moment. I have never been left hungry,
without clothes or without roof. My father works hard to give me
money for my education here, my mother manages money pretty well
and thanks to her I have learnt a lot of stuff, but when it
comes to how can we save money, god help us, really. I apologise
for the long message, I really needed to vent and I really
appreciate and am thankful to those who read it.
Now to go to the topic, my hour with the physical therapists is
in three weeks and I am afraid that might be too long of a time.
Well, probably is, probably I should have went when all happened
in the beginning, well cant go back in time. I read some
exercises and stuff and now I do some massages and press facial
acupressure points for relief. Honestly, I dont know if it is
working or not. Browsing the net I read a lot of cases and
stuff, sadly, none of them said "This is the cure for TMD",
everything was just relief, which was pretty scary. I read about
people having had surgeries and standing with their mouths sewed
closed for month or more, people paying up to 70k$ for
treatments and in the end the same problem just coming back.
There were other who managed to cure their TMD at home, just
doing some simple 5 minute exercises which they found in some
video and wrote in the comments, that it cured it for them. One
slept with something hot on his joint for whole night and it
cured it for him, strangely when I tried something similar, the
clicking just got more intense. Some stay with the problem for
decades, something I really would like not to happen, others got
it so bad they can't sleep, for now sleep really relaxes me, not
as much as in the beginning strangely, but it feels good, I
really hope it doesnt go that far as to not be able to sleep, I
cant imagine what I am going to do then. Some constantly pop
their TMJ in and out, something I am afraid that might happen as
I started surrounding my TMJ with my fingers, pressing and
opening and closing my mouth and that gives a lot of relief, but
certainly I dont know the effects of it, as I do it because I am
desperate. Constant pressure in the ears and loud popping every
time you move them sucks a lot too. Seriously, all of you people
with healthy TMJ, who do facepulling and chewing, be careful, I
bet you just dont realise how nasty this stuff is, nothing is
worth it, I am telling you. So yeah, if any of you have
researched on the topic too and have found something that cures
the problem, or what will the physiotherapist do for the hour
for which I pay him 40 euro, so I can do it myself, at least
till the hour comes, would be awesome.

Update: Did a hour worth of massages and standing beneath hot
water. It helped, but hour later pain and tension is back, not
sure if it is as severe as it was, as my ears dont pop too much,
but the tension is more. Won't give up though, would look to add
some more exercises and would do them tomorrow or in the evening
again, kinda losing hope. Would keep updated hoping to come up
       with something.

Thanks for the response, sadly at the moment I am not able to
afford myo, as I remember that you said it costed 1000 euro,
which is not that much too, so maybe I will do it in the future.
Yesterday evenening and today I am feeling better though, could
be because of the massages, I hope its because of them, maybe
they need some time to take effect, I expect everything at the
moment because it seems more logical to me, but who knows. By
the way, how is your treatment going, are you feeling better?
Have you felt the results from the myo or its too early?
