Check out her before and after, think it's some of the most
solid visual evidence I've seen so far. And that's despite
having teeth removed. Perhaps it's not about having all your
teeth, maybe it's about the forward development? Because she has
had extractions but still has amazing results from what looks
like very long term (over 2 years) treatment. I think the
treatment is basically what facepulling does but with screws
       instead. Thoughts?

That is by far the most impressive result I have seen using non
       surgery method. Wow.

Beats me, I seriously cant understand them. You go to an
orthodontist as a kid or as an adult, it doesnt matter and they
won't tell you "Hey, wanna know why your teeth are crooked?
Because you are breathing through your mouth and your tongue is
not up" or they put you braces and in the end they put retainer,
instead of saying "Hey, stop mouthbreathing and put your tongue
up, so your teeth dont need a retainer". Its not that they dont
study this, they perfectly know those reasons, what mouth
breathing causes, what the lack of tongue support causes, what
weak facial muscles cause. Last time I show to an orthodontis a
picture he had on his wall of removal palate expander and he
laughs saying "You want this?". And I tell him "I learnt about
mouth breathing etc.. and I plan on not doing it and think there
will be more result" and he is like "aah, yeah, you are not
wrong". Or when I got the tmd I told him "I was thinking of
strenthening the facial muscles" and he says "Yea, thats not a
bad idea". So why are they not saying this stuff, why dont they
address it, it really bugs me. I am usually more of a conspiracy
guy and certainly dont believe that things are really in the
help of humanity but I am pretty sure their lecturer didnt say
"Don't tell them the causes, it will ruin the industry and you
wont make so much money", so why no one says it, I just cant
answer myself this and I didnt really ask him why anyway.

I found the link in a comment on one of CPS posts about
shortening the face, here are the comments:
"While I can appreciate that much of what you say regarding
beauty is true, your solutions leave much to be desired. Here is
some information for you. My husband is an oral surgeon so he is
very educated on the topic. Interestingly, Tad therapy is
available now for shortening of the midface. It is cutting-edge
as patients would usually need maxillary impaction surgery to
shorten the midface. Now, steel posts called TADS are attached
inside the mouth in the gum area above the teeth, strong rubber
bands are attached and the teeth are pulled upward as the bone
resorbs. It is truly amazing because it is much less invasive
than having jaw surgery. As the teeth go up, the midface
shortens but inevitably the patient then needs a liplift. If you
are interested, I can send you a scientific study with pictures
       that show the results.
"For those of you interested in TAD therapy for vertical
maxillary excess, I have listed several links. I am sorry for
taking so long but I just visited this site again. I am
receiving TAD therapy from Dr. Howard Henry in Scottsdale, AZ.
He has move my teeth, jaw and alveolar process back at least 3
mm. Now, he is moving my teeth up. This is truly amazing and it
       works"
And this was one of the links. It looks like they usually do
this for patients with severe issues and before surgery, but
obviously this link shows its effectiveness without surgery.
Interesting that she still looks good without all her teeth as
she has had extractions before surgery; perhaps it's not about
having all your teeth, it's more about when the face is a
certain height and then you take away some of the teeth, the
face kind of crumples in on itself. This method has made sure
her face has come forward (making it look shorter, wider and
better) rather than the face developing down as the spaces
       close.
I wonder if this method would work on people without
extractions? It just seems like a more scientific version of
facepulling to me, with the affect being 24/7 and inside the
mouth instead of outside. And how would Mike Mew react if you
went to him asking for it; he seems to be one of few who is open
to trying to methods and is testing methods currently. No doubt
he would be impressed with the before and afters.
