belt facepulling question

i've began belt facepulling again but now i'm a bit worried
because the belt has left a red line-scar on the left corner of
my mouth.maybe i did it wrong a couple of times.will the scar
disappear on it's own?if not should i go to a dermatologist or
should i use a natural method to try to remove it?i do the
method where you fasten the belt to a pull up bar and use your
body weight as the pulling force.

What could go wrong?
You need to man up and pull harder. Don't mind if some teeth
fall out, your dentist can fix them back. Just pull HARD so that
the maxilla can really explode forward. In three months you
will be a new person.

dude come on Progress
also OP those red lines should go away. they're just temporary
from the stress that you're putting on your skin. I don't really
advocate for belt method these days though, just know there are
major risks involved.

yeah i guess that makes sense because unless i did something
wrong there is no other explanation why it happened

Belt Pulling is highly controversial from a lack of MANY good
examples post Puberty. I'd cease everything and Mew. Years -
that's what bone needs to change... unless you work with someone
in Orthotropics and use their devices....

the first month that i began belt facepulling i saw some very
good results at the age of 22 but then the progress dramatically
slowed down but i was still seeing some small progress until the
neck/red scar problems appeared.
also @jamo716 did you get the red lines too?if you did,how long
did it take until they disappeared?i'm rubbing some lemon juice
with a cotton ball hoping they fade away but i don't know if it
will improve it or make it worse

sorry i wasnt aware you were having longterm problems with it.
honestly I would use a different belt or even stop doing it if
it causes issues still. to avoid this issue i generally would
fold me belt in half width wise so that it could easily fit in
my mouth. i have to agree with meltedface in that proper,
forceful mewing is the safest longterm solution.

You could also soften the belt by wrapping a towel or a piece of
cloth around it.

I was thinking tho, why use a belt? What i want to say is
doesnt a belt have too much of pointed force, I mean it doesnt
cover the surface of your whole upper jaw so the pressure is
uneven and causes problems. Why not a towel so you spread it
from the back to the front teeth or was thinking of buying a
mouth guard and putting gums inside it to make it softer or
something else, because the teeth will pass through the gums,
and press on it so it evens out the forces throughout the
maxilla. Just an idea tho, I am not really planning on doing
that method, so I cant test it.
In terms of slowing results, excessive and frequent
pulling does seem to reasult in that because the bone develops
scar tissue and gets resistant with time, however, trying to
research about the bone's reaction to pressure and asking
friends who study medicine, I couldnt get any information.
About the scars, if they are stretch marks you are
screwed dude, this has no removal except lasor in a limited time
before the stretch mark becomes white, there are some creams and
things like that who give amazing results but 100% removal is
not achievable. But I really really doubt that they are stretch
marks so don't worry, most likely they are going to heal with
time.
Anyway, I really think there is a bit of a wrong
obsession with getting the small face and using belt to achieve
it. Several people posted more than amazing results from a year
or so of chewing gum and mewing. And this is really what you
need, a millimeter or 2 difference and I can tell you from
personal experience, because my left part of the face is a
millimeter or so longer and the difference is horrific. My right
part of the face has pretty good jawline, the eye has good
zygomatic bone support and the face has good forward growth, the
left the eye looks bigger, cuz no support from the zygomatic
bone, my masseter muscle become a bulge when flexed, the line
next to the nose is bigger and overall looks like its melting,
plus I really believe symmetry is what really matters. Look at
Lucky Blue Smith for example, dude has dropped maxilla, eyes
look always supper sleepy and has that big gummi smile, but he
is really pretty, because he really has that symmetry and
harmony in the face. Other examples are Nick Bateman, Francisco
Lachowski, who actually has pretty good formard growth. You
really need a millimeter or 2 and strenghtening the muscles
which will tighten the skin and make it look healthier and
younger.
