       Self NCR

Hey, I'm interested in learning to do self NCR. I'm getting
results from doing face pulling with a cricket helmet attached
to my damon braces. I just want to speed up the progress with
self NCR. I got all the equipment, just want to know how to do
       it right.
I do have one issue, one nostril is quite closed off and I can't
feed the balloon up the nostil on my right side. the left is
fine and I can treat that side easily, just wondered if there is
       anyway to over come this?
Any advice would be much appreciated :o)

You can try to enlarge tight turbinates by pushing a cotton swap
through them. Once you get more familiar with the structure of
the nasal passages it becomes easier to guide the balloon into
them. You could try to create balloons out of disposable latex
cleaning gloves, because they're usually thinner than latex
finger cots and therefore easier to cram into the nose.
Also after the first inflation inside a tight turbinate the
passage tends to widen a bit and stay like that at least for a
       while, making future treatments easier.

Thank you for the reply :) Thats such helpful advice. I'll
       definitely give that a go.
If anyone is interested I might post some pictures of my
       progress

Please do. The internet is not exactly saturated with visual
evidence of NCR, Facepulling and Mewing. Just a few people
carefully documenting and sharing their progress can increase
the perceived legitimacy of these methods in an almost
exponential manner and make more people aware of them.

       I will definitely :)
So far, 4 months into face pulling my cheek bones are already
bulging out to the point where my friends and family have
       noticed.
It doesn't show up in photos as well but there is a difference
and my face is looking more 3D.
I'm also wearing a anti snoring strap at night to make sure my
jaw stays closed all night long. This has also helped train my
tongue to stay at the roof of my mouth even during the day I am
now automatically places my tongue where it belongs.
I've got another 10 months to go with the damon braces so
hopefully more change will happen and I'll post some photos.
thanks again for taking time to help me :)

Do you have any cheekbone before and afters? I'd love to know
how they changed because my recessed maxilla is my biggest
       challenge. Thanks!

Hiya. I do have a current picture but will have to dig through
and find a old picture. I don't like having my photos taken very
       much.
Have you given face pulling a try? I use light forces when I
face pull, I think that really helps. I think that is why damon
braces work so well because they use light forces and work with
the body and give the body tissues time to 'catch up.'

Hey guy, cool to see that there are more people checking this
       stuff out.
I'm still wearing braces since 4 years ago or so, at age 26 now.
I'm thinking of getting them off now, and saving up for some
damon braces, what was the ballpark that you had to hit into to
afford those? Got to start face-pulling again too, and damn I
may even get myself to an NCR clinic someday here.

Hey "Progress", I like what you wrote. I used to document like
crazy, actually was pretty crazy and young, so was obsessed
about fame too and popularity. What's your idea about "carefully
documenting" our progress? do you mean, including some
disclaimers and things so that people know they are taking their
       actions into their own hands?

By carefully documenting the progress I was talking more along
the lines of trying to take pictures that are consistent enough
to actuallly be useful. Same angles, lightning, camera/lens,
hair out of the way of the facial features & ears etc. If you're
not willing to keep most of the variables reasonably identical
you might as well not bother at all.
I understand your worry and the responsibility you feel about
misguiding people towards potentially damaging methods, but
ultimately each one of us is fully responsible for our own
physical and mental well being. You should not blame yourself
when someone in his poor judgement manages to hurt himself any
more than a gym owner should feel responsible for someone
injuring themself because of overtraining. It is 100% their own
       fault.
No one is guiding you by hand in this world. We all have to make
choices in our daily lives, and each choice is a g amble with
either acknowledged or unacknowledged potential positive and
negative consequences. If you're stupid and reckless, you will
time after time pay the price for it, until you learn not to be
like that. That may be a bit harsh thing to say, but it is the
       reality of the situation.
We can inform people to the best of our ability, but what people
decide to do with that information is up to them. No one else
can be held accountable for that, not even partly.

       Hi Tyler
Umm, I actually live in the uk and Damon Braces aren't a huge
deal more expensive here than traditional braces.
I'm paying £2800 for 14 months of treatment.
I must say, they are well worth it!
