       Best appliance?

So hopefully by this summer I will have saved enough money for
professional help. Question is what is the best appliance?
I'm leaning towards the ALF as everyone who has had it said its
effective (although there only a few). Then followed by Damon
braces to straighten the teeth (as these cause further
expansion). I have no previous extractions just TMJ on one side.
Bare in mind I also have a palate expander I ordered online that
works so I can use that alongside the ALF possibly with the
security of knowing if anything goes wrong I have a professional
       helping me.

From everything I'm reading, ALF has good outcomes for adults,
and mewing. Other methods from people that work on adults like
face pull devices work for extended hours are scarce from
practicing professionals, or DIY with mixed, desputed results.
The post I did about the guy in YouTube doing ALF with cross
bands from his dentist did pull his maxilla forward and correct
an underbite that "needed" a Lefort 1. I'm personally going to
ask about this method, as it seems like crossband forces and ALF
might be the key to "pulling" for long gentle periods without
wearing a contraption that might be available. Check out his
channel - his name is PJ Wilson...

I'd love to know too about any other methods that work, widely
practiced, with good results and less controversy and lack of
pictures like NRC and Face Pulling via belt and hockey mask...
no offense if it works well, it just seems very experimental and
can mess up things for this lacking experience or with complex
issues... if there were more pics and detailed instructions
without people getting surgery I'd love it!

Thanks for the reply, I've checked out his videos before and
they're really informative; seems to be the only person not
including CP who provides well documented before and after
       images.
Definitely agree that NCR and facepulling need more solid proof
before it can be practiced as a normality such as braces, but
now even Mike Mew is looking into facepulling and asking people
to come forth with ideas. Exciting stuff!

Yea. and CP has all this controversy... along with using surgery
so the results aren't all natural. I can't wait to see how this
       man develops on his journey!
