       Hello!
I am Zoe, nice to meet you. I am a complete newbie when it comes
to NCR and whatnot, don't laugh at me, promise? :)
       Anyway, why am I here?
I am here because my face is EXTREMELY asymmetrical, and beyond
that, I believe that the fundamentals of NCR might help relieve
it to some degree in the future. My face is asymmetrical to a
noticeable and immense degree, to the point where I look almost
deformed in some photographs. The two sides of my face look
super different, in terms of eyelids, eye size, under eyes,
cheek bones, forehead, jaw etc etc...
This is because my mum is a psychopath. So, I have had a
traumatic life so far, including countless illnesses exacerbated
by my mum's non presence and non care in addition to
malnutrition because children don't need food right?
       It was bad.
So what is the state of things, and what can I do about it?
My teeth are in a sorry state. More teeth were removed from the
right side than the left causing a relative facial collapse.
This was completely avoidable but my mother decided to let me be
       in agony for months instead.
So I think two implants on the right side will help support my
facial structure and reduce the rate of collapse. It is feasible
that my left side would catch up with my right if I only put
       implants in the right.
I have an overbite/overjet, untreated because children don't
need care right? And I cannot treat it, because the NHS in
England won't cover it, and I cannot afford it. This causes my
upper lips to protrude, and the incisor protrusion is not
uniform causing my upper lip to look asymmetrical. To fix this I
would have to line up the two front incisors somehow. Any ideas?
Fixing this, and the implants, might cause my nostrils to level
       out a bit.
Facial collapse on one side can cause a deviation of the septum,
which has happened, and may have been exacerbated by nasal
congestion in the past. I can't do anything about this right
now. Though I know there are ways to deal with that in the
       future.
And what does NCR have to do with this?
Well, I have noticed that my forehead is not leveled, that is to
say the right side of my forehead has a bump and is jutting out
somewhat. I think this is partly responsible for the differences
in eye size, and eye lids.
I wonder if my mum dropped on my head as a baby and told no one?
I wouldn't put it past her.
Anyway, so my reasoning is that if NCR allows cranial movement,
and this bump is not natural, my forehead and subsequently my
eyelids might level out. This would be a small gain in symmetry,
and every little helps in my case.
The problem might be the overjet, if the maxilla moves forward,
and my mandible doesn't move to suit, it could get worse?
       So:
implants + future braces (including flaring of lower teeth, and
expansion of upper palate) + NCR = improvement?
That's the idea anyway. What do you guys think?
I have attached a picture below so you can get a rosy tinted
view of the asymmetry, but I would never let you see me not
smiling, for I do not have the guts.

       Hello Zoe,
I see that no one's replied, so I can only give you my
       experience.
My teeth too, are sorry. My face was messed up due to a horse
kicking me in the face as a young child. About age 3 or 4, and
I, too, blame my mom, because she left me at home by myself to
go next door. So she wasn't watching me.
My face had always had a dish-faced look and it was especially
apparent in high school. From the front, it looked okay, but
       not from the profile view.
Well, fast forward to 2012, I had my first NCR session with Doc
Hillary Lampers, ND. The palate came forward that first day.
My face is so different than what it used to be. Also since
2009, I kept falling on ice and falling flat on my back hitting
my head on the deck, TWICE. And another time I fell on ice, but
I had padding on, and it didn't seem to hurt.
With an already collapsed face, it seemed to get longer and
narrower, but yet, my mandible is short and it was really jammed
       back into the condyles.
Here is a before and after showing my improvement from 3 years
       of NCR....

The eyes are covered, because they are real distracting. Before
no makeup and after with full makeup.

Hello! Apologies for my poor English as I'm not a native
       speaker.
Finding this forum and and endulging myself with all it's
information has been like a ray of light breaking through a
brickwall of despair and I would very much like to thank
       everyone who has contributed.
Over the past few years I have been feeling very self conscious
about my appearance to the point where it's made it impossible
for me to look even my own family members in the eye let alone
going to social events and approaching new people. I always look
tired and unhappy, my face sags and my smile reminds me of a
scene in the Simpsons where mr. Burns' smile scares a bus load
of school children who refer to him as the boogeymans
grandfather. I tried losing weight, I practiced smiling in front
of the mirror, tried sucking in my cheeks to make my features
seem more pronounced. Nothing worked but clearly something was
wrong. This all changed after I saw a picture of me and my
friends. I despise the idea of having my picture taken (the only
reason why I don't have any social media profiles) but seeing
myself from another persons perspective the problem was obvious.
The left side of my face is flatter than the right, my jaw is
crooked and I have a receding chin. Luckily this appears to be
"self inflected" damage with poor tongue posture as my arches
are round and of pretty normal width and I have never had any
teeth pulled out. The only orthodontic work I had as a kid was
this nightguard which was used to push my front teeth up in to
my gums as a cure for a deep bite. And I don't recall ever being
       a mouth breather.
The effects of poor tongue posture are even more evident when
you look at my teeth. My back teeth have worn down to just
basically gums due to my palate dropping down. My upper front
teeth are pointing directly down and my a half of my bottom
front teeth are pointing slightly backwards. Kinda like the left
side of my mandible wanted to go forward but my upper front
teeth wouldn't allow it, causing the bending.
I honestly didn't get any sleep last night due to the sheer
excitement for finding the cure and knowing the parts of my face
pulling mechanism are in the mail right now just brings
butterflies to my stomach. And feeling a light sense of pressure
all over my midface for keeping my teeth together, lips
together, tongue on the roof of my mouth just feels awesome in a
strange way. Which surprisingly happens very naturally for me.
I am also very interested in self ncr and I would be eternally
grateful to anyone willing to help me find the protocol. I found
the link to Bens site but it appears to be disabled leaving me
to wonder if the paypal payment unlocks the information here:

       Hi everyone!
I first want to say, that I am extremely grateful for the people
here and for this website. I have suffered from mouth breathing
and nose congestion throughout my entire life. I am now 27.
Because of this, I am depressed about my facial appearance. I
always knew something was never right in my face but never could
pin point exactly why. After watching a video from Dr. Mike Mew
it is crystal clear why. I have everything he described, that
being flat cheek bones, long face, receding chin, big nose, and
       a weak jawline. I would post a photo, but I don't feel
comfortable doing so. Maybe I will privately to users who can
       help me.
After watching Dr. Mew's videos it gave me hope and I started
searching methods and found out that face pulling seems to be
showing the most results. I would like assistance on creating a
pulling device or if any one has simple thumb pulling methods
I'd greatly appreciate it. I am planning on getting an online
consultation with Dr. Mew, but so far from all his videos, he
pretty much has described what needs to be done. But at this
point I am desperate and would like his opinion.
I currently have been chewing hard gum, eating harder foods, and
go every week to have ROLFING done (which has dramatically
changed my posture for the better) Interesting enough, she did
something similar to face pulling. She did at one point stick
her thumbs in my mouth and pulled. I don't remember which
direction exactly, and she also pulled around my cheeks. But she
was doing it for different reasons. Not for Maxilla growth.
So I'm here for guidance and help. I'm very sure I can bring
back the face that has been hiding under my vertical face
       growth.
I am determined and fortunately since I work mostly at home, I
can wear any crazy contraption pretty much all day.
I am grateful for everyone's input and experiences.
       I thank you all.
       Mike

braces. My main goal is to get rid of my weak chin w/ chewing
and face pulling by the end of high school. Wish me luck!

       Hello!
I'm so glad I found this forum! Information is quite lacking
and, aside from Dr. Mew's work, some stuff I found online looked
a little unrealistic, if not dangerous.
About me... I'm a 21 year old male from Italy and I found out
about NCR and this forum from Mike Mew's research.
I am an odontology student so this is all very important to me,
and I'd love to become knowledgeable in Orthotropics in the
       future!
And of course, I'd love to improve my health / appearance :D
I hope I can find the information I'm looking for here, and be
       helpful as well :)

       Hello,
I'm an Italian living in London.
I've just found out today that skull changes are feasible
       without surgery.
thank you for this helpful forum.
