Added the first day of my second session.
I'm encountering a lot of difficulties getting this right, it's
like it got way harder after the first tries for some reason..
Also, I haven't really experienced strong feeling like aches in
the maxilla area or sensitivity in the skull.. maybe I'm doing
it all wrong.
But then again, I DID get my ears popping a few times..

Like someone said earlier, as long as both ears pop you should
be fine. Aches and sensitivity can appear, but they're not bound
to appear. It's just good news if they don't!
There's not really much you can do about the balloon going into
your throat, you just have to avoid pumping too fast. Did you
treat all turbinates of one nostril or some from each? Usually
only one turbinate per nostril results in ear popping for me,
never all three.

Honestly I was so focused on just getting to the upper throat
that I didn't care much about which turbinate I was in...
But I always cycle the upper and lower, left and right, haven't
really managed to consistently get into the middle one.
Side note: I tried inhaling hard the balloon before inflating to
help settle it in the turbinate, since inflating too soon
results in all the pressure going against the alar cartilages,
which are basically the very tip of the nose. Do you do that as
well?
As for the balloon going down my throat... I hope I'm wrong and
that the cause for this is entirely my technique being
inadequate, but I'm starting to fear one possible culprit could
be that latex gloves are probably less thick that finger cots;
that might cause them to give in and turn down sooner than
those.
I hope that's not the case, since I'm not comfortable with
shopping online, but maybe..

Haven't tried snorting the balloon, that sounds uncomfortable
:D. I'm able to guide the balloon far enough with a q-tip that
has one end snapped off. I usually also pinch the nostril
towards the cartilage when I begin inflating so the pressure
won't build up in the nasal passage as easily.
Have you tried applying another latex finger on top to make the
balloon a bit more rigid? Or perhaps your local supermarket has
gloves from other brands that may suit your needs better?

I'll try to stack 2 balloon and see if it gets better... as for
the gloves, I usually buy them from the medical supplies store,
but I might try other ones once I go through all of them :D
By the way, today I didn't get to do ncr since I had little
time.. also I'm having a stiff nose these days (= inflamed
turbinated) so maybe I should also wait a few days until it gets
better.

Added day 5. Today it went well :)
Also, I forgot to mention I tried stacking 2 latex finger but
then I couldn't reach the sphenoid at all.. I might try again
once my nose is not clogged anymore.

I might add that the ears popping generally means sufficient
pressure has been built up to effect the ears which also means
ull of most certaintly hit the sphenoid by then, one effect
youll get when you know youve done it right is youll get odd
teeth sensations for a bit after inflating in the upper throat,
reason being because the sphenoid being hit effects the upper
jaw/maxilla an so your teeth will tingle after inflating,
usually after the 3rd to 5th pump ull b on the upper throat,
once youve mastered the feeling of this you can do it faster
with more pressure like a proper ncr practitioner, get tooth
tingles/ears popping then youve done it correctly.

I don't think I've ever experienced my teeth tingling after
NCR... But to achieve that I probably need to pump more times
than I do currently, since after 1 - 2 inflations the balloon
goes down and gives me a choking sensation, so I stop.. Looking
forward to that :)

Angelo, yeah the teeth tingling occurs not long after youve
inflated, its nit a horrible its just a tingling indicating the
maxilla has been hit n the Sphenoid before that, make sure that
ur using meduim/large fingercots n position the cot all along
the turbinate right back to the where the top of the throat is,
youll then have all the fingercot completely in the turbinate,
the idea is to pump the cot in the turbinate which then inflates
n inflates n feels like its gona explode through the nose,
instead it bursts into the top of the throat and whacks the
sphenoid and thus get teeth tingling, its important that u know
exactly where the top part of the throat with practice etc, then
u can position the cot perfectly in the turbinate so that the
tip of the cot is right at the start of the upper throat, then
rapidly inflate it n by the 3rd or 4th pump itll burst into the
top throat n whack the sphenoid, good luck.

That sounds really promising, thank you :)
I'll practice reaching the upper throat with just the Q-Tip
then!
