       Biting Inside of Cheek

Over the past couple days while chewing, I've bitten down hard
on the inside of my cheek 4 times in 2 different places. I'm
wondering if changes to the alignment of my teeth are causing
this. Since I've been practicing proper tongue posture and
swallowing technique, it feels like I have more room to
comfortably accommodate my tongue on the roof of my mouth. Has
anyone else had issues with biting their cheeks as their dental
       arch widens?

It tends to happen if I accidentally create a bit of a vacuum
inside my mouth while chewing and/or separate my jaws too much
apart from each other between every bite. If your dental arches
have changed a lot it probably just means your muscles and
nerves haven't yet adapted to their new range of motion.
