/>just read this post, and I can understand the point CP is
       making
but I can't understand what correct head posture actually is.
Could someone please simplify it for me?
       Thanks

Mike Mew talks about the "McKenzie chin tuck." I think this is
at least part of promoting proper head posture.

In short, tuck chin in and lift back of the head up, both as
much as you can. Try to stand as tall as possible, but keep your
shoulders down. The head and shoulders should kind of hang from
the occipital bun area where the neck ends, while the occipital
area itself reachs for the sky. Push pelvis upwards.
You will feel a deep stretch around neck, traps and chest. The
jaws will stay shut without effort.
It took me 2 days of constant conscious stretching to finally
feel start feeling more comfortable in the new position. A full
body mirror helps alot in analyzing the posture.

Thank you, makes a lot more sense.
The chin tuck is the only bit I'm struggling with, perhaps
because my chin sticks out quite a lot.
I'll have to watch videos explaining the chin tuck in more
       detail.
