It sounds to me like you are inflating too much too soon.
Insert the empty finger cot as far as you can into the meatus
(between the turbinates). Inflate gradually (less than a full
squeeze each time), while pushing into the nose and slightly
twisting with the sphygmomanometer bulb. It also helps to hold
the sides of your nose with your other hand to prevent expansion
within the nasal vestibule. Once you feel the balloon advance
past the turbinates into the nasopharynx, rapidly squeeze the
bulb fully several times until you feel expansion across both
sides of your face, then release the valve and withdraw the
balloon.

Did a better job last night as went light headed slightly n tear
eyed after it and i know the feeling of it due to me having had
it done by a practioner, as u say it helps to push it fars it
will go wen its inflated slightly in the meatus and then slowly
inflate and pinch your nose to prevent build up in the cavity,
its learning curve i guess, oddly addictive after it too.

Day 18: I treated both sides, still reusing the same medium
finger cot, while lying down.

Glad to hear you're getting the knack of it!

Work has gotten very busy and I've missed the past couple days
in a row. I have decided to take an extended break now and then
resume later when I have more free time for shorter, more
intensive courses. Maybe next month I will try a one week series
treating ever day, alternating sides, with 2+ layers of finger
cots.
