Thanks for your consistent feedback Improv! When you start
inflating balloons inside your nose, it's good to have
reassurance that what you're experiencing is "normal." I think
for now I'm going to treat both sides equally.

Day 9: I treated only the left side today, and felt some good
expansion, especially through the top meatus. I'm getting better
at knowing where to direct the probe to reach each of the
meatuses without having to fish around. It's hard to say if the
treatments are having any effect so far. I think I feel slightly
more clear-headed and I haven't had any of my tension headaches
that I get sporadically. I also noticed some sensitivity along
the coronal and sagittal sutures yesterday. This could all be
confirmation bias. I haven't observed any discernible changes in
facial structure, but (of course) it's early days yet.

Day 10: I think I probably affixed the finger cot with too much
length today because I kept feeling it expand down into the
oropharynx rather than expanding out within the nasopharynx. I
hadn't really experienced that uncomfortable gaging sensation
       from the inflations until today.
While I've mentioned the asymmetry in the bridge of my nose, I
forgot to mention the asymmetry in my palate. The right side of
my median palatine raphe projects lower on the roof of my mouth
than the left side. Of course this isn't visible to look at my
face superficially, but it is pretty significantly different on
either side of the suture line. I'll monitor this as I watch for
other signs of changes in facial structure.

You can do the thumb trick to stop gagging reflex, it worked for
       me.

       What's the thumb trick?

Make a fist with your thumb inside the grip and squeeze it

Yesterday was the first day since I started that I didn't have
time for a session, so today was day 11, and really my 6th
session since I figured out how to consistently reach the
nasopharynx. I tried Improv's thumb trick to avoid gagging. I
think it helps, but it was a little fiddly as I like to use my
left hand to hold the sides of my nose during inflation, so I
was using two fingers to squeeze my nose and the other two
       fingers to squeeze my thumb.

Just want to say that it's so awesome to hear about everyone's
progress on this site. It sounds absolutely amazing.
I've been looking into ncr and the like for the past 6 or 7
months give or take, and I feel like I'm finally ready to jump
in and give it a shot myself.
That being said, can anyone point me in the right direction?
I've read through the archives, and all of the links for
instructions have 404'd. My apologies if I'm intruding/being
rude or something, as I'm not terribly familiar with this
       website and it's etiquette hahah

Hi Edge, I was in the same situation a couple weeks ago.
Thankfully, MJON was so kind as to send me the instructions and
they definitely helped me figure out the technique to advance
past the turbinates and expand within the nasopharynx. I'd be
happy to pass along the favor if you PM me your email address so
I can send you the PDF of the instructions. I don't think
there's a way to attach the file within the forum messaging
system. I'm also happy to try and answer any questions here.
       Good luck!
